Trump is running it like a reality show, and Dems are overwhelmed. Our team sent a (very real, not scammy-looking) survey to online donors to hear their thoughts, and these are the highlights: xitter.gq/newdigitalnow/status/1…
It's been ~a week~ since Trump moved back into the White House...
On this episode of Concepts of a Pod, @GNeinstein and @ShaynaJaskolka share our Democratic Focus Group's thoughts and comments on the past week as we figure out a new strategy to fight back. Full episode here:

Dear election people on this site, there is approximately 0 reason to pay any attention to how the fiancé of an outgoing congressperson is going to vote.
I realize we're going stir crazy, but please, take a deep breath, touch grass, and keep your sanity in check.

The 2026 midterm is going to be a good exercise in the law of diminishing returns when it comes to campaign spending.

I guess the padres are going to have to take down their “we were the only team to beat the brewers this postseason” banner now 😔

The Dodgers will get their hands on the AI system the Brewers created for this run next year just watch their opposite field approach go crazy next year.

Or give to a political org that plans to exist post Election Day and will use your money to build long term power! Lots of options here.
Hell no. This is already the most expensive race in Alaska history, Peltola raised $17 million in Q3. Your $25-$200 won’t do shit.
Think of opportunity costs when there are so many local charities that could desperately use your money. Food banks are struggling to make up for $185m cut from SNAP last year.
If you insist on spending in politics, consider a state legislature race, whose entire budgets can be as low as $30k, or a municipal race. Your money actually matters at that level.

Andy Beshear was asked why he has not invested much in the Texas governor race:
“I’ve got a size 10 budget with a size 16 map and Texas came into play later than others”
“Texas is more expensive to move the needle it’s also a direct give state”

You need to understand how important this is. If @AmyActonOH wins, she could reject (veto) bad bills, but Republicans could override her veto & force bills to become law anyway
......unless Dems also pick up 6+ seats in the Ohio House
Vote D all the way DOWN BALLOT 🇺🇸

based on Dem headwinds, from what i’ve heard, both sides think there’s a non-zero chance Dems gain 6 or more seats in the House. and the House supermajority, while a supermajority, has limits. there are DeWine vetos it didn’t have the votes to overturn statenews.org/government-pol…

Unfortunately I think this quote is bang on
Ezra Klein: “Most Israeli Jews now see the world the way Netanyahu has long seen it. That is Netanyahu’s great victory. But it is matched by his great loss: Much of the world now sees Israel the way Gazans see it.”
