⚠️ #ONEPIECE1198 - FULL SUMMARY: PART 3 (FINAL PART) ⚠️ The scene cuts to Nami and Jinbe as they head towards the Western Village. Nami: What happened, Jinbe?! Jinbe: It seems Loki has just been defeated... There are two immense Haki signatures!! They're heading toward the Western Village!! That means Luffy must have reached the village before them!! But why!? I can't understand the meaning behind his actions!! Nami: There's no way Luffy would run away on his own... Jinbe: I'm worried about Brook, too...!! Let's hurry!! The scene cuts back to the Western Village, where Sanji and Killingham are. We now see that the mysterious dark figure is actually Luffy in his Gear 5 form, but something is a bit off. He looks and acts completely like a playful monkey. His body is entirely black, with swirl patterns engraved on it, resembling the same patterns seen on Devil Fruits. We can see him lying on his side on the roof of one of the houses, with his head resting on one hand while his other hand scratches his butt, LOL. Sanji: Hey, Luffy?! Luffy: Kikikiki~♪ Sanji: No...!! Something's different... Who the hell is that...?! SFX: Scratch, scratch... (Luffy is scratching his butt, LMAO) TRANSLATION NOTE: Luffy is making monkey-like noises. "UKI UKI" / "UKIKI" are Japanese onomatopoeia for a monkey's cries. They're equivalent to "OOH OOH AHH AHH!!!" in English. Suddenly, he jumps up, grabs MMA Zaza by the hair, and playfully pulls her back. Luffy: Ukki, Kii!! ♪ Zaza: !? Giants: Huh!? What the hell is that thing!? Giants: A monkey!? No, wait... That form...!! Luffy: Ukyo!! HAAH....!! Luffy suddenly grabs MMA Zaza's elongated torso, takes a deep breath, and blows hard, pumping air into her body and making her burst like a water balloon! Zaza: AAAAAAAH!! Killingham: What the...?! Rain God!!! Oimo and Kashii: WHO THE HELL ARE YOUUU?!!! Monkey-form Luffy laughs hysterically. Luffy: Ukya-kya-kya-kya!!! End Note: In an instant...!!! ⚠️ #ONEPIECE1198 - FULL SUMMARY: PART 2 ⚠️ The scene shifts to the battle between Imu and Loki. We can see large tree branches that have transformed into sinister-looking devil trees, which are singing. We can also see two extremely large figures. One of them is Imu, who has taken on a bizarre new form. He is gigantic, almost making Loki look small in comparison. His current form is very slender, with flowing robes and long hair. His horns have grown even larger, and flames are burning atop his head. His face resembles a dark voodoo statue or doll, complete with a goatee. His Omen ring, which has eyes, now has wings on either side, making it closely resemble a biblically accurate angel. He is also holding what appears to be an extremely long sword with no guard and a white blade. We can also see Loki in his Hybrid Zoan Form. His face and legs have draconic features, and he has wings and spikes on his back. He is crouching down, looking exhausted and bloodied. The introduction box says: Dragon-Dragon Fruit Mythical Model: Níðhǫggr 2nd Human-Beast Form It seems that Loki has other Hybrid (Human-Beast) Forms, and the introduction box identifies this as his second form. However, I think this is actually the first one we've seen. Sinister Trees (Singing): ZUN... ♪ ZUN ♪ DORORON! ♪ HOGE! ♪ DON! ♪ DAN! ♪ We see Hajrudin, Usopp, and Gaban watching from a distance. Imu uses old-fashioned Japanese expressions and terms, such as 「暁」 (akatsuki), meaning "when" or "in the event of"; 「古」 (inishie), meaning "ancient"; and even 「筈」 (hazu) in Kanji form, meaning "should" or expressing an expectation or certainty. The latter is commonly written in hiragana, but here, it is deliberately written in Kanji, further emphasizing the archaic tone of Imu's speech. Loki: LIKE I SAID... HELL IF I KNOOOOWWWW!!! Loki swings at Imu, but with an incredibly swift move, Imu slashes Loki with his giant sword. Loki sustains a massive wound, with large amount of blood gushing out. He falls to the ground, seemingly defeated. SFX: DOOOOOONNNN!!! Hajrudin: LOKIIII~~~!!! It seems that the "white blade" of Imu's sword is actually some kind of energy, as it disappears and leaves only the handle behind. It works exactly like a lightsaber from Star Wars. Imu: ──Then I need only seize this land and find out for myself...!! (Cough!) I'm already at my limit...! I never thought I'd have to expend this much power...!! I must return to the Holy Land quickly, or Mu's life will be in danger... Hah... Hah... "Nika"...!! Hajrudin: Usopp! I'll take care of Loki!! Usopp: Yeah! But don't move him too roughly!! TRANSLATION NOTE: Gaban said "動物系 の正念場" (Zōn-kei no shōnenba) - "Critical Moment for a Zoan-type". I think Gaban is implying that Luffy is facing the most critical moment as a Zoan-type DF user. This might be a reference to the unsuccessful awakening of the Zoan-type Jailer Beasts in Impel Down, whose bestial instincts completely took over their personalities. ⚠️ #ONEPIECE1198 - FULL SUMMARY: PART 1 " One Piece Chapter 1198 - "The Island Where Monsters Live" Cover Page Request: 「 Brûlée gives Pudding an eyeglass with three lenses as a present!" 」 (NOTE: We can see Charlotte Brûlée and Charlotte Pudding in the center, trying on eyeglasses. Pudding's eyeglasses have three lenses to accommodate her third eye. Their youngest sibling, Charlotte Anana, is below, trying to reach for Pudding's glasses. Charlotte Flampe is seen pouting in the back.) Beginning Note: "Omen Panzer, destroyed!!" The chapter begins where we left off. Killingham's Omen Panzer (Omen Armor) is completely shattered, sending him crashing into the giant houses. "CRAAASHHHH!!!" Sanji lands. We can see black, flame-shaped patterns on his right leg. We can also see Conqueror's Haki lightning aura. Sanji: Huff... Huff... Killingham lies on the rubble, his face completely bloodied. He tries to get up. Killingham: Urrgghhh... TRANSLATION NOTE: In this line, Sanji uses the exact same wording that Zoro used in Chapter 1187: "ウチの同僚" (uchi no dōryō) - "my colleague". The word "同僚" (dōryō) means coworker, co-worker, colleague, or associate. VIZ translated it as "companion." However, I'll stick with my previous translation of "colleague" for this line. This interaction also parallels Zoro's line to Sanji in Chapter 1187. Killingham: What!? ........!! Suddenly, a streak of Conqueror's Haki lightning flashes above them. Killingham: Gwaaaah!!
