🚨 Chainstack has disclosed a security breach after an attacker gained access to part of its infrastructure through a third-party component.
Customer names, email addresses, and password hashes may have been exposed.
The attacker also gained access to systems containing node credentials, which Chainstack is now treating as compromised and urging customers to rotate.
Chainstack says the incident was part of a larger AI-powered cyberattack campaign in late October.

🚨 THE $6.3 BILLION BINANCE HACK
A fake job interview. Compromised AI tools. Stolen developer credentials. A wallet authorization exploit.
Months of preparation. Billions stolen in minutes.
This wasn't a simple phishing attack.
Here's how the hackers infiltrated one of crypto's biggest exchanges. 🧵👇
WHO WAS BEHIND IT?
The FBI has attributed the attack to North Korea.
Blockchain investigators have identified patterns associated with TraderTraitor, a group linked to previous major crypto thefts.
North Korea denies involvement.
Meanwhile, Binance says it has reserved enough funds to cover the losses and replenished 98% of affected token assets as of October 31.
The investigation and independent security review are ongoing.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Think about what happened.
A fake interview led to malware.
Malware led to compromised employees.
Compromised access reached wallet-signing infrastructure.
And billions moved on-chain.
This wasn't fundamentally a failure of blockchain consensus.
It exposed the risks surrounding the systems and people authorized to move assets.
My takeaway?
Crypto security cannot end at protecting private keys.
It must protect the entire chain of trust.
The next generation of financial infrastructure needs the next generation of operational security.
Stay vigilant. 🔐
