If the Glazers and INEOS are still gonna be here next summer, then INEOS need to get fucking serious. Fuck off the stadium plans for now and focus on getting the football operation and the squad right first. Get rid of @OmarBerrada and Wilcox. Bring in people who know what the fuck they’re doing. Get rid of half this squad. The players who shouldn’t be here and should have been fucking gone years ago. Hire a world class sporting director with a clear footballing philosophy, then appoint a coach whose tactics and playing style align with it. Implement that philosophy from the academy right through to the first team. Every signing, every coaching appointment and every decision should fit the same long term plan. Stop starting from scratch every time a manager leaves. Build a proper football structure that survives beyond one coach. Promote youth to fill the gaps next season if needs be. I’d accept getting beat every week with six academy players on the pitch because at least we’d know they’d give everything for that shirt. We need a proper rebuild. We can’t keep sitting here with players who’ve been at the club for years, who weren’t good enough ten years ago and certainly aren’t good enough now. Stop pissing money away, stop protecting underperformers and start building a team with an identity, a plan and players who actually give a fuck. 🔴
