Bill Green--retired newscaster, and a great guy, in spite of supporting Susan Collins--said in a recent OpEd that I always vote Democrat. Not true, Bill! I grew up in a Maine Republican family; my grampa wouldn't say FDR's name, just called him "That man in the White House."

As a kid, I worked for John Reed and Bill Cohen. In college, I became a Democrat because of an ill-advised war , like Trump's adventure in Iran. One goes to college to learn new things. I learned to be a Democrat.

I think the Children of the Corn should fight Leprechaun. Don't know who would win.

I hope Maine voters will cast their ballots for Troy "The Boy" Jackson, if only to put a brake on DJT.

My new one, OTHER WORLDS THAN THESE (T3), is published today. It's the final book of the Talisman trilogy, co-written with my old buddy, Peter Straub. As DJT would say, thank you for your attention in this matter.

I don't have much craft. I just follow the characters.
