Very excited to announce a new media accreditation with Europeโs biggest MMA promotion, @OktagonOfficial ๐ฅ
OKTAGON has a huge digital presence and regularly draws 20,000+ fans to its events.
In 2024, they set the record for the highest attendance at an MMA event outside of Japan, with almost 60,000 fans at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany.
Youโll now find OKTAGON coverage across all @_FightRecord digital platforms: breaking news, fight announcements and stats on our socials, plus fight cards, results, quizzes, fantasy games and more in the Fight Record app.
The addition of OKTAGON MMA to the Fight Record digital ecosystem signals our continued expansion into the MMA market and our commitment to include to MMA, as we grow beyond our Muay Thai and Kickboxing roots.
Iโm looking forward to attending an OKTAGON event in the near future, but for now, digital coverage starts this Saturday at OKTAGON 95 in Karlovy Vary, Czechia. ๐จ๐ฟ

The BIGGEST domestic fight of the year happens on my doorstep this weekend.
Josh Hill ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ defends his WMO Super-Middleweight World title against the unbeaten Jamie Allison ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ at VICTORY 17 in Newcastle tomorrow night.
Jamie has slowly worked his way up, beating everyone put in front of him including some big names.
Last year, he won and defended the UK #1 spot twice, won two European titles, and now challenges Josh who has recently made the move up from Middleweight.
As we already know, Josh has been in the ring with some of the best fighters in the world, including a Rajadamnern Stadium title bout against Petchmorakot last year.
We removed Josh from his #1 spot at Middleweight earlier this year after he said he's permanently moving to Super-Middleweight.
Now we get to find out who the real UK #1 is at Super-Middleweight this weekend. ๐ฅ
Spoke to the team at ONE earlier and got the green light on releasing Mia Trevorrow's ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ opponent for October 2. โ

โNew AI-powered flyweight Muay Thai rankingsโ
This is how I find out Iโm not on the ONE rankings panel anymore ๐
๐ Aslamjon Ortikov sits above Rodtang in ONE Championshipโs new AI-powered flyweight Muay Thai rankings โ leading the contenders chasing Asadula Imangazalievโs title.
Flyweight is one of four Muay Thai divisions included in the initial rollout, following the removal of ONEโs previous rankings at the end of 2025. Rankings for other divisions and disciplines, including MMA, will follow soon, the Bangkok Post understands.
FLYWEIGHT MUAY THAI RANKINGS
Champion โ Asadula Imangazaliev ๐๏ธ
1. Aslamjon Ortikov ๐บ๐ฟ
2. Rodtang Jitmuangnon ๐น๐ญ
3. Nong-O Hama ๐น๐ญ
4. Shimon Yoshinari ๐ฏ๐ต
5. Ramadan Ondash ๐ฑ๐ง
Who should get the next shot at Imangazaliev โ and would you change the top five? Let me know below.

I've not seen this mentioned anywhere else yet and ONE haven't communicated it with the media.
But according to the event image update on ONEFC.com, Ferrari Fairtex ๐น๐ญ will face Akif Guluzada ๐ฆ๐ฟ on The Inner Circle 29 next week. ๐ฅ
Another piece that's just apeared on ONEFC.com early this morning.
Two Muay Thai fights added to ONE Fight Night 48 in October 3.
Nakrob Fairtex ๐น๐ญ vs Parham Gheirati ๐ฎ๐ท
Arian Esparza ๐บ๐ธ vs Sam Fitzgerald ๐ณ๐ฟ
Again, assuming the fight announcements will follow on the ONE socials soon.

I hate the term "tune up" fight, but it looks like Egor Bikrev's ๐ท๐บ return next week is exactly that.
Assuming it's deliberately matched at 137lbs (2lbs heavier than his championship weight), so if Petchsamui ๐น๐ญ somehow pulls off a miracle, Bikrev doesn't lose his 135lbs title.
Hoping to see an undisputed championship fight between Egor Bikrev ๐ท๐บ and interim champion Samingdet ๐น๐ญ once this one's done. ๐๐

Just spoke to the RWS matchmakers and been given a few confirmed fights for next week. ๐
A big one which will interest the UK and Irish fans is Karl Tannian vs Zsombi Nemeth. ๐ฅ
That and more official announcements will be released on @_FightRecord soon. ๐๐จ
Let's not forget Nico Carrillo ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ has been sparking people out in big gloves his whole career before signing with ONE Championship. ๐

Just spoke to Petchpanomrung's coach Adrian. They're doing a seminar tour in the UK next month. ๐

Drop me a DM for details. โ
Three-time World champion and UK #1 Marc Campbell ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ will compete at Channel 7 Stadium on October 25, I was told by Marc's coach earlier today. โ
