2 Antlions, ( see different abdomen patterns) but probably same species, but which one? 4 spotted? From Italy. @tristanbantock @bugmanjones
Hi @bugsymac1, I’ve had a go at keying out a stonefly, I think it’s a female Nemoura cinerea. Can you verify from these photos?

@StevenFalk1 @CRStipula I managed to get another specimen (I think) from same place( a few flying around the pond). Wings look like P.albimana, 9mm, but body has no orange? Confused now😊.
@StevenFalk1 @CRStipula Hi, found this crawling out of my small pond in Glasgow. Wing looks like Ptychoptera minuta, but doesn’t have the black body? Suspect egg laying female. Wing 8-9mm. Can it be ID’d from these photos?
Music lost another legend this week, Kenny Morris, drummer for Siouxsie and the Banshees on the first 2 albums passed away. Together with John McKay he split from the band during the Join Hands tour in Aberdeen ( the night before I was due to see them in Glasgow). RIP
