A voter was interviewed on Israeli news, along with two first-time voters, about what led them to choose who to vote for. One of them said that his main issue was that "I don't want there to be Arabs here in the country." The reporter nodded enthusiastically. Say hello to the next generation of Israeli voter.

🚨BREAKING: More Clashes Break Out At Israeli Voting Booths
These scenes emerged from Rehovot. Other fist fights were recorded in Tel Aviv as tensions remain high, with Netanyahu and his allies claiming that the election is being stolen.

Israel is deliberately suppressing Arab voter turnout:
Gov incitement at the highest levels
Ben Gvir's police at Arab voting stations
Election workers deliberately obstructing Arabs from voting
Hebrew-only ballots at Arab voting stations
Likud activists sent to film & intimidate Arab voters
There's a real desperation to convince the Greens are in crisis for naming a racist ideology for what it is, meanwhile other political parties can call a regime that murdered 20,000 children "a valuable ally" and no one in the media bats an eye.

A Campaign Against Antisemitism steward was filmed by Al Jazeera offering to provide “muscle” at a rally organised by Turning Point UK, a far right group that Al Jazeera revealed to have links to Loyalist paramilitary contract killers.
The CAA was already thoroughly discredited last December when a judge ruled a case it had brought against the comedian Reginald Hunter was “vexatious” and “abusive” and aimed purely at getting him “cancelled”. So horrified was the judge by their behaviour he instructed a copy of his ruling to be attached to any future legal action brought by the CAA.
It is astonishing the CAA still has charitable status and more astonishing still that the BBC interviews it as being representative of the Jewish community.

So that's a No.
Ed Miliband is asked if the government will sanction the Israeli defence minister and an Israeli major general as illegal settlement expansion and ethnic cleansing intensify in the West Bank.
The foreign secretary said he will not “speculate on future designations”.

Fifty British peers have written to home secretary Shabana Mahmood urging her to ban American rapper Macklemore from the UK ahead of his Wembley gig this week.
The letter, organised by ex-chair of Labour Friends of Israel Lord Walney, calls on Mahmood to revoke Macklemore’s electronic travel authorisation on the basis that proceeds from the tour will be donated to the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM).
Lord Walney’s letter claims the grassroots anti-genocide group has a “record of glorifying terrorism and intimidating elected representatives” – allegations that PYM denies and which are based on its positions regarding what counts as legitimate resistance and protest.
The peers’ letter characterises a 2025 PYM campaign that encouraged people to pressure Labour party figures over Palestine as “an attempt to coerce members of parliament through fear”.
Signatories include former Conservative party chair Eric Pickles, former DUP leader Arlene Foster, former attorney general Lord Goldsmith, Lord Brady of Altrincham – appointed by Rishi Sunak – and Lord Roberts of Belgravia, who was appointed by Boris Johnson.
Macklemore announced his Free Palestine Tour – which quickly sold out its dates in Dublin, Paris and London – shortly after he was dropped as a support act on Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour last month.
Pro-Israel billionaire Robert Kraft spearheaded a ban on the rapper performing after he spoke out against Israel’s genocide in Gaza during shows at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.
Lord Walney acted as a political violence advisor for the government between 2020 and 2025.
In 2024, he recommended the proscription of groups such as Palestine Action and Just Stop Oil while working for lobbying organisations in the arms and fossil fuel industries.
That included a role as chair of the Purpose Business Coalition, whose members include oil giant BP and arms manufacturer Leonardo, which has extensive links to the Israeli military.

A new petition to launch a public inquiry into the UK's role in the Gaza genocide has already reached over 20,000 signatures.
If it surpasses 100,000, it must be considered for a debate in parliament.

I wonder if I went into my neighbour's garden, claimed it was mine, forced them to stay out of the garden, and then used it to plant vegetables while hitting them with a stick every time they tried to venture out, whether David there would be demanding my right to sell Steve's Vegetables in the local shops.
He'll launch a mass attack of begging demands, with pin point surgical strikes to bank balances and wallets. "Spare €80bn for a cup of coffee?"

Media analysis is complicated by the fact that it's so difficult to measure tone. James Landale's brief BBC report is positive, relaxed, upbeat; he's almost smiling by the end. There's no sense of the ominous, damning tone one might expect of a journalist reporting on a horrifically violent state in the middle of a genocide. If Israel was an Official Enemy rather than a close ally, the tone would be very different. bbc.com/news/videos/ck240dg5…
The Israeli election between former IDF chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot and current genocidal fascist Benjamin Netanyahu, is basically between a yet to be indicted war criminal and a wanted war criminal. Eisenkot is the architect of the Daihya Doctrine, the flattening of entire neighborhoods to punish civilians for the existence of resistance. The UK media is portraying Eisenkot as a centrist moderate. What does that say about Israel and the UK media?
The best thing about Netanyahu losing will be watching the corporate and state media trying to repackage continuity in an attempt to persuade the public that some kind of change has occurred.
I see the BBC is framing tomorrow's Israeli elections as a contest between the Netanyahu bloc and "centrist" figures led by Gadi Eisenkot. Hmmm. Here's my analysis for Zeteo:

I wonder if the Burnham government will issue an immediate set of responses in relation to this much more credible and properly researched report?
Or will it, instead, end bin collection in Birmingham because the Green Party believes the ideology behind those crimes is racist.
