Curiosity got the better of me and I watched a bit of that AI Pertwee Dalek story on YouTube. Had to switch it off after a few minutes. Apart from the usual problems of dodgy faces and dodgy voices the whole thing is just so unrelentingly DULL. 1/2

Barely any dialogue, and when there is it’s stilted, perfunctory, and utterly soulless. Plus there’s an eternity of silence between one character speaking and another responding. Of course the comments underneath are full of people saying how amazing it is. Bloody hell. 2/2

Well… #70up about to start soon. I’ve been watching it since 28up 😳. Excellent series, though for the last couple of decades at least it’s increasingly looked like a strange aberration on ITV, a sad reminder of the quality of programmes they used to make.

The key thing about Trump’s 5000 dollars bullshit is what he said at the end about how it has to be spent in America. How do you enforce that? Obviously it won’t be paid into people’s bank accounts, my guess is it’ll be 5K ‘credit’ of some sort. 1/2
