Family legend has it that he explained the point of it all to the Chief of Police. "You get straight back out there" said the PO. "My mother died of that." #gonebutnotforgotten

Stay thirsty my friends 😁
I may wish more people agreed with my take. But I'm not arrogant enough to confuse lack of agreement with lack of moral courage.

You can enrol to vote whenever, even on election day itself. But if you enrol (or update) your details today, or Friday, or over the weekend voting will be much simpler. You won't need to use a special vote, and voting will be faster for everyone. vote.nz

Well if you were wondering what the actual rules are, consider yourself now told: covid19.govt.nz/assets/resou… (There's a good argument this exceeds the legal authority of s 70(1)(f), but I doubt a court would uphold it while the state of emergency continues)

(I mean I doubt they'd uphold the legal argument.)

Such a great idea @jrmeager. Don't know whether it's worth adding the Privacy Commissioner's published guidance or whether you're sticking to documents with legal status: privacy.org.nz/further-resou…

And is it really such a good idea to be incentivising multiple trips to yhe supermarket right now? It's the one place I feel unsafe.
Hey @CountdownNZ and @NewWorld. I get the reasons for the one item per person rules, I really do. But spare a thought for those of us who are now shopping for multiple houses.
