this was my attempt at trying to translate “Black Lives Matter” in Tibetan. it actually says “Black lives are precious.” tried to strike that balance between being accurate in translation but also achieving resonance in Tibetan (in my view).
despite the best attempts of the corporate media we have in the biggest city of Canada (including the feckless, limp Toronto Star), the people of Toronto have resoundingly rejected technocratic opportunism and nihilism.

these seven frat boys at Cornell were accused of gang r*ping a fellow student, who was drugged and assaulted over and over for a period of approximately four hours.
screenshots of the fraternity "Chi Phi Activities" group showed one of them texting there was “free p*ssy” upstairs.
the university suspended them, but offered them a way back if they wrote essays.
none of these alleged gang rapists was charged with a crime.
meanwhile, the university arrested and prosecuted students who protested against genocide.
