There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.
Twice we bought a house in the US, and we had to reimburse the seller for the gas and heating oil left in the tanks. Any extra fixtures not included in the property price must be paid for separately, about $200–$400. When we sold one of the houses, we charged for the leftover heating oil too.
There’s no need for the emotional blackmail in the video. The landlord should have paid the tenant for the tiles.

🇳🇬 KNOW YOUR NIGERIAN CONSTITUTION — PART 4
📖 1999 Constitution (as amended)
SECTION 9 — HOW THE CONSTITUTION CAN BE AMENDED
The Constitution establishes strict procedures for changing its provisions.
For most constitutional amendments to pass:
At least two-thirds of all members of the Senate must approve.
At least two-thirds of all members of the House of Representatives must approve.
At least 24 of Nigeria’s 36 State Houses of Assembly must approve.
However, amendments affecting Section 8 (creation of states and boundary adjustments), Section 9 itself, or Chapter IV (Fundamental Rights) require a higher threshold: four-fifths of all members of each chamber of the National Assembly, plus approval from at least 24 State Houses of Assembly.
What this means: Neither the President nor the National Assembly can unilaterally change the Constitution. Constitutional amendments require broad legislative agreement at both federal and state levels.
🇳🇬 KNOW YOUR NIGERIAN CONSTITUTION — PART 3
📖 1999 Constitution (as amended)
SECTION 5 — EXECUTIVE POWERS
Executive powers at the federal level belong to the President, while executive powers at the state level belong to governors.
These powers include implementing the Constitution, enforcing laws, and administering government affairs.
However, the President cannot declare war against another country without approval from both chambers of the National Assembly sitting jointly.
Deploying Nigerian troops for combat outside the country also generally requires Senate approval, subject to a limited emergency exception.
What this means: Presidents and governors have executive authority, but their powers are not unlimited. They must operate within constitutional and legal boundaries.

My rule of thumb is if I see something three times from three completely different sources, I’ll post it. Whether it’s been confirmed or not. This is the third time I’ve seen this. The second was Dolly Parton’s sister. Have they actually rigged the machines?

I really loved watching this video by the Mbakaras.
So glad many people are sharing about their happy marriages.
Talking about your happy marriage will get you bullied! Even before social media.
Is it the sneering? the dismissals? Oh you just got lucky or it will not last or you are lying or he is cheating you name it!
Everyone is shouting Islam under my tweet as if Christians are not rolling in the mud, chewing grass, doing all manner of bizarre things in the name of worshipping God. As I already said, religion is the worst invention ever and has brought nothing good to mankind. It makes people stupid and bereft of common sense. As you tag Islam, I hope you can comfortably agree that the news in the screenshot below is just as problematic.

God’s Heaven Baby
And for those I have forgotten, I beg for God’s pardon. These are the little victories he has used to shape the woman I am growing to be.
A destiny bigger than the shoes I walk in.
I have done everything I wanted, and it was indeed more than I thought it would be.
Today, I celebrate more than the gift of life. I celebrate resilience in the face of adversity, courage in the face of unjust persecution, and extraordinary strength to continue to rise and win against odds that would have broken so many.
I pray that I may never lose the courage to dream, the wisdom to discern, or the strength to keep growing even when the odds are against me.
Today is not just another birthday. It is a reminder that I am still here, still standing, still growing, still winning, and still capable of becoming more than everything destiny has in store for me.
I pray for God’s Blessings, Grace, Protection and Divine Favour.
Happy Birthday Serah Ibrahim. May this new chapter be the beginning of your most victorious years yet.
Do well to include me in your prayers today 🙏🏻❣️🙏🏻
The journey continues.

I nearly posted John’s TikTok yesterday, but paused when I felt something was off. Turns out we were right. The Omar smear campaign is purely political.

Early voting is open in Texas, and in Tarrant County, Republican commissioners have already cut nearly 30% of Election Day polling places. Fewer polling locations means longer lines and harder choices for working people. Texans are still showing up. Your vote is your power. Use it!
