Ethereum, BNB, Solana, TRON and Hyperliquid lead its revenue-based index.
Bitcoin and XRP were excluded for failing to meet its protocol revenue and token value-accrual criteria.
S&P is applying traditional financial viability principles to digital assets, shifting the focus from market capitalization to measurable economic value.

The rules take effect January 18, 2027.
