India's alarmingly high Covid infection rate is dangerous; many actions are enforced; EC should immediately stop all physical election rallies for new phases. @narendramodi @PMOIndia @1947democracy @COVIDNewsByMIB #IndiaFightsCorona #ElectionCommissionOfIndia #BJP200PlusInBengal

PublicHealthMedicine considered boring subject. We need it now most to fight Covid19. Herd immunity is vital to control contagious diseases-it requires recurrent multiple cycles.Second/third wave could be disguised blessings-face,cope,accommodate,live/work with; don't blame others

Ignorance is bliss; its always good to use common sense and be pragmatic. Controversy surrounding face masks continues; many people around simply don't bother as initially they were told it was unnecessary. Alarmingly many people don't use any form of facemarks; media should act.

Following Lancet, now Science reports-'Science in India’s Kashmir Valley in Jeopardy-Indian government has imposed a communication blackout on J&K effectively cutting off scientists and students from the rest of the world'; its absurd & incorrect as most institutions are active.

Indian Govt's plans to set up 75 new Medical Colleges, along new tertiary AIIMS level Institutions deserve applaud & show of solifarity. However, its utmost important to stop/slow down external migration serving UK NHS, USA/Australasia. India should claim for the medical workforce.

Thanks for sharing thoughtful observations; I am reminded by Kissinger's comments just before 1971 war'warned Pakistan Army to protect the Nation rather than worry about Kashmir'. Rest is history Jinnah's two Nations Pakistan reduced to One! Some one needs to remind them again.
