BE-4s chilling in and ready to fly. Weather is green. New Glenn’s new T-0 is 1:35 a.m. EST (0635 UTC).

We want to be clear about our objectives. This is our first flight and we’ve prepared rigorously for it. But no amount of ground testing or mission simulations is a replacement for flying this rocket. Our key objective today is to reach orbit safely. Anything beyond that is icing on the cake. We know landing the booster on our first try offshore in the Atlantic is ambitious—but we’re going for it. No matter what happens, we’ll learn, refine, and apply that knowledge to our next launch.

Please explain how a 5-5 team that went 0-3 in their league got in as an at large over 7-3 and 2-2 in league.
I would love to give my kids that explanation today when I meet with them.
@CIFSS feel free to respond???
