England haven’t been convincing so far, but without players born outside the UK or with at least 1 parent or grandparent born abroad, we wouldn’t still be here. And today, we’d be down to just 3 players.

“Death is better than this.”
Shocking images of starving, emaciated children from inside Gaza are laying bare the desperation inside the strip, as @nadaabashir reports.

If you're defending the mass starvation of children in Gaza, then it's time to take a step back & look at your moral compass: "Surely it is impossible for us, as normal human beings, to watch children starve to death without making an effort to save them."

At times like these am incredibly grateful for all the dedicated teachers, history experts & team at @MigrationUK quietly working away to make sure the next generation will have the knowledge, understanding & humanity to welcome migration as a pivotal part of all our stories.
Delivered CPD to all Oasis academy history teachers with @JoshPreyeGarry. Oasis have mandated @PearsonEdexcel migration unit at GCSE. Exciting times for migration education across the country! Josh: 'the unit makes heroes out of our parents, grandparents and neighbours' 🙌

We are heartbroken that our trustee George Alagiah passed away earlier today. George was a passionate supporter, a remarkable trustee & a true friend and champion. He was determined to create @MigrationUK – he'll live on in everything we do. We will honour his memory. RIP George

The NHS was born 75 years ago. People have come from all over the world to make it a reality. Yet their vital role has largely been ignored.
Our new touring exhibition #HeartoftheNation explores migration and the making of the NHS. It opens @leicestermuseum on 30 June.

Literal shit is pouring into our seas. Every single UK river is chemically polluted. Yet last year private water firms almost *trebled* shareholder dividends, meaning less money invested in upgrades. Time to bring water back into public hands. @We_OwnIt
