Candace Owens is running around saying that her personal dismissal from a Delaware lawsuit by the Macrons is exoneration. Which, um, isn’t true. But that’s the usual, isn’t it?
🚨BOMBSHELL: A new lawsuit has just been filed against Shannon Taylor that could be a DISASTER for her campaign for #VA01.
Filed by a former Henrico County prosecutor, it alleges that Taylor FIRED the prosecutor for reporting harassment & unwanted sexual contact from a colleague.
Lawsuit seeks $1.25 million in damages and a jury trial.
RETALIATION, DEFAMATION, CONSPIRACY‼️
The media MUST report on this - Virginians deserve answers!

Oct 12, 1870: Robert E. Lee died in Lexington, Virginia, five and a half years after he surrendered at Appomattox.
When the war ended, Lee was the most famous man in the South and he had nothing. His family home at Arlington had been seized by the federal government and turned into a cemetery for Union dead. He was 58, his health was failing, and he was under indictment for treason, though he was never tried.
Offers came in. Businesses wanted to put his name on their letterhead for big salaries. He turned them down. Instead he took a job as president of Washington College, a tiny school in the Shenandoah Valley that had been looted by Union troops during the war. It had a few dozen students and a handful of professors. The salary was $1,500 a year.
He threw himself into it. He knew most of the students by name. He added courses in engineering, business, and journalism, which were unusual for the time. He replaced a long list of rules with an honor system and told students the school had only one rule: every student must be a gentleman.
He spent those years telling Southerners to accept the result of the war. He told former soldiers to go home and rebuild. According to an often-told story, when a widow complained bitterly to him about the Union, he told her not to raise her sons to hate the United States and to make them Americans. In 1869 he paid a short visit to President Ulysses S. Grant at the White House.
His heart was giving out. In the spring of 1870 he took a long trip south, partly for his health. Crowds met him at every stop. On Cumberland Island in Georgia he visited the grave of his father, Revolutionary War hero Light-Horse Harry Lee.
On Sept 28, a cold, rainy day, he went to a long meeting at his church about raising money for the minister's salary. When they came up short, Lee pledged the difference himself. He walked home in the rain and sat down to dinner with his family. When he tried to say grace, no words came out.
He had suffered a stroke. They made a bed for him in the dining room. For two weeks he lay there, mostly silent, while one of the worst floods in Virginia history swept through the region outside.
He died around 9:30 in the morning on Oct 12. He was 63.
Accounts written later said his last words were "Strike the tent," along with an order for A.P. Hill to come up, as if he were back on the battlefield. Doctors who have studied the case think the stroke had taken his ability to speak, and many historians doubt those words were ever said.
The flood had washed away the town undertaker's stock of coffins. Some were found downriver, and the only usable one was too short. Lee was buried in his suit without shoes.
He was laid to rest in a crypt beneath the chapel on the college grounds. Within days the school's trustees voted to rename it Washington and Lee. His horse Traveller, who walked behind the funeral procession, is buried just outside.
After the war Lee had signed an oath of allegiance and applied for a pardon. The oath was lost and never acted on. It was found in the National Archives a century later, and in 1975 Congress restored his citizenship.
Americans still argue over how to remember him and the cause he fought for, and they probably always will. But in the last five years of his life, he chose to spend what he had left teaching young men, rebuilding a broken school, and telling a defeated people to put down their anger and become Americans again.
156 years ago today. Rest easy General.

Raise your hand if you love the cost of your power bill? Anyone anyone?
Well get this - its going to go up by 60% over the next 10 years. Thanks to the Virginia Clean Economy Act. This is Virginia's Department of Energy Report filed in 2026.
1000 kWh is $158 in 2025
1000 kWh is $255 in 2035
Look at your power bill. I've attached a screen shot of my usage. If I use 3500 kWh monthly - in 2035 - my average utility bill will be $900/month and as much as $1700 in the coldest month of the year.
This is real. This is not hyperbole. Virginians are about to be crushed by the Virginia Clean Economy Act - passed by Democrats when Northam was in office. There is no way to offset this unless the law is repealed. Virginia must be carbon free by 2045 - but we have to import 30% of our energy from PA and OH - and they make it by burning fossil fuels. So all we are doing is destroying Virginia families with Green mandates that will bankrupt families.

🚨BIGGEST COST DRIVER: Virginia Democrats Want to Talk About Rising Electric Bills, Just Not the Biggest Cost Driver
More than half of Dominion Energy’s rate increases are coming from clean energy mandates in the Virginia Clean Economy Act.
... "[T]here is a glaring omission in Virginia’s new political conversation about electric bills: What has actually driven the energy price increases?"
"Between June 2022 and June 2026, the monthly bill for a typical Dominion Energy Virginia residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt-hours increased from about $127 to roughly $176 — an increase of approximately $49, or 39 percent."
"A closer look at Dominion’s rates finds that $27, or over half of that increase, is in the clean-energy/Virginia Clean Economy Act (VCEA)-related category. This includes offshore wind, solar, storage and renewable-energy compliance. Distribution increased by $19, fuel and energy by $12 and transmission by $5, while declining legacy-generation and environmental costs offset part of those increases."
"But the point remains: VCEA-related and clean energy costs have been the largest contributor to the recent increase in residential bills. That deserves as much attention at an 'energy cost' summit as data centers." ...

Democrat took control of Virginia in 2026 and immediately put 67 local taxes on the ballot in November…
Don’t be fooled. Democrats increased spending as soon as they took office and now with the surplus gone, localities need to make up the difference.
If it’s on the ballot, VOTE NO on any new taxes!
Taxation is THEFT.

Reminder: @SpanbergerForVA ran on “affordability”, then immediately slapped a carbon tax on every Virginians power bill. “You keep using that word (affordability). I do not think it means what you think it means." - Princes Bride

Today is a good day to remind you that Virginia Senate Democrats voted down a gas tax holiday.
They talk about “affordability,” but when push came to shove they chose to keep you paying more at the pump.

Since @GovernorVA has taken over in January, my husband and I have received letters from the Virginia Department of Taxation, kind of like this one. This “Notice of Assessment” claims that the Virginia Department of Taxation did not receive my full payment when that is NOT true.
Is this what Conservatives in Virginia get to look forward to under Abigail Spanberger’s leadership? If this is the case, hopefully President Trump’s @TheJusticeDept looks into this because we all remember the IRS targeting Conservatives during the Obama Administration.

🇺🇸 We’ve been reading about what the sailors aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln have been through
but one homecoming story somehow lands especially brutal.
Connor Nelson spent 10 months away from home during the carrier’s extraordinary Middle East deployment.
When he finally returned to his apartment in California, his car was gone.
Then he pushed on his front door and it opened.
Someone had ransacked the place and stolen thousands of dollars of his belongings, including his television, laptop, shoes and fishing equipment.
The Lincoln strike group spent over 250 consecutive days at sea while conducting combat operations during the Iran war. Thousands of sailors lived through that deployment.
Nelson was one of the lucky ones who got to come home early.
And somehow, after 10 months waiting for home, he arrived to find that someone had taken that from him too.
