And that kids is the story about a surly Canadian named Geoff but pronounced “Jeff”. He punched people for a while in a defrosted hockey rink. @GeoffSnider4
Ever wondered why faceoff men look at the ref in box, but don't in field?
@FlowGo37 explained it for us yesterday!
5. Hand signal levels the playing field rather than adjusting rules, equipment, whistle cadences, blah blah blah. Let the warriors battle and if Chong Li wants to throw powder in Frank Dux’s eyes, the ref can call that.
My recommendations:
Bring back the hand mechanic, it starts every dead ball on the field, except the face-off. Level the playing field.
No more motorcycle. Only alternating grip, it’s how the game is played.
No more knee down to start, the game is played on two feet.
Let the skill, technical ability, and athleticism shine @NCAALAX.
Essentially take the face-off back to 2006. Watch that tape, very few issues.
Go ahead haters. Fire me up.
@FlowGo37 @LaxCulturedaily my two cents on the face-off hand mechanic:
1. @NLL operates with this mechanic to signal to the time keepers bench to start the game, period, etc.
2. Both players have equal opportunity to view the referee over either shoulder during a 4 qtr game.

Australia has become one of my favourite places to find inspiration in residential design. I love this middle housing, which preserves a single family and gets to 8 homes. Done by Pacasa Developments and CeraStribley Architecture.

We did it! So far in 2023, we've provided 2 million dollars in funding for 5989 kids’ registration fees and the @FlamesSportBank outfitted 3000 kids in no-cost equipment.
