Everyone is always rooting for you. Your parents want you to be a great son. Wife wants you to be a great husband. Your boss wants you to be a slam dunk hire. Every first date you’ve ever been on they’ve been rooting for you to get laid. Every time you started to tell a joke people hoped it would have a hilarious punch line. Your proximity to anyone is a reflection of themself, meaning the deck is never stacked against you, and your failures are completely your own

David is a good example of this truth: God can forgive your sin, but forgiveness does not always remove the earthly consequences of your actions.
David committed adultery with Bathsheba, and when he repented, God forgave him. But the consequences of his actions did not disappear. (2 Samuel 12:13–14).
Some of you committed fornication, and God forgave you, but now you have children outside wedlock, and you must take responsibility for raising them.
Some of you lied, and God forgave you, but people no longer trust you.
Some of you mismanaged money, and God forgave you, but you are still struggling with debts.
Some of you destroyed relationships through your actions, and even after repentance, rebuilding trust has taken time.
This is why you must never use God's mercy as an excuse to play with sin.
Yes, God is merciful. Yes, He forgives. Yes, His grace is sufficient. But sin has consequences, and sometimes those consequences follow you long after you have repented.
You can be forgiven and still have to face the consequences of your decisions.
Do not just pray for forgiveness; pray for the grace to walk in obedience and wisdom so that you do not keep repeating the same mistakes.
Sin will take you further than you intended to go, keep you longer than you intended to stay, and cost you more than you intended to pay.
Choose obedience. Choose holiness. Choose wisdom.

A good friend text me this last night:
"Bro, This girl text me a few times today to come over to her place tonight.
I know where it'll lead........She wants to hookup. I'm just lonely & thinking I might."
He's a recent Christian & wants a great Godly wife & kids one day.
Maybe he's looking for validation or for me to say some FOLLOW YOUR HEART BS....... instead, I Called him.
He picks up:
"Hey bro, I'm gonna say 2 quick things,
1) Would this action lead you closer or further away from the man you want to be? You've been down this path how many times now? Do you feel better or worse each time after?
2) Someday you'll stand before God & give an account for the decision you make tonight. The Bible clearly says we will all give an account for our life. Do you FEAR GOD?
You have free will my man, it's 100% up to you. Love ya.
Got a text a few hours later.
He took a hike with his dog, read the Bible, & worked on his side business.
Being a good friend, is NOT AFFIRMING BAD CHOICES.
It is speaking hard truths. Challenging a brother when he wants to stray.
I have so many men in my life that speak hard truths to me. I hope you have a circle like that too.
IRON SHARPENS IRON. ❤️🙏

We laughed when the Bible said, “Run from sexual immorality.”
Now a whole generation is being raised in broken homes, born from broken vows.
God wasn’t trying to kill the vibe. He was trying to kill the curse. But we didn’t listen…

Some of you didn’t try God. You tried church.
When the church hurt you, you realized liars, fornicators, and fake people also go to church.
You concluded that God isn’t real or that Christianity was a joke.
If people can make you walk away from God, you were never in a relationship. You were just in a religion.
Know the difference.

When I say “God,” I mean Jesus.
Not the universe.
Not energy.
Not luck.
Not positive vibes.
Not manifestation.
I mean Jesus Christ the Son of God. Crucified for my sins,
buried, risen on the third day
and reigning forever.
That’s who I mean when I say God.

The dishes are in the sink because people ate.
The shoes are by the door because people came home.
The toys are scattered everywhere because people were happy.
Some of the mess is proof of a good life.
Stay grateful.

SIN HAS CONSEQUENCES — EVEN AFTER REPENTANCE.
Repent.
When God forgives your sin, His mercy is complete. But forgiveness does not always erase every consequence of what you have done.
If you damage someone's reputation, asking God for forgiveness does not automatically restore that person's opinion of you.
If you steal, repentance does not remove the responsibility to make restitution where possible.
If you hurt someone, forgiveness does not necessarily make the wound disappear immediately.
This is why repentance is more than simply saying, “God, forgive me.”
Where possible, you must make things right. You must accept correction. You must change your ways. You must allow God's grace to repair what sin has damaged in your life and in the lives of others.
Think about it this way: a father can forgive his child while still allowing that child to face the consequences of a wrong decision and learn from it.
God's mercy forgives us, but His grace also purifies and transforms us.
So never use God's mercy as an excuse to take sin lightly.
Repent completely. Turn away from sin. Make restitution where you can. Accept godly correction. Do works of love and mercy. Allow God to transform your character.
God does not forgive you so that you can remain the same person.
He forgives you, cleanses you, and teaches you how to walk in holiness.
Don't play with sin because you know God is merciful.
Sin is serious. Repentance is serious. God's mercy is greater.
If this message has blessed you, please share it with your friends and groups. Someone may need to hear this today.
God bless you.

I used to think praying in Jesus’ name was how you closed a prayer. Like a stamp you put on the envelope so it counts.
Then I actually read what He said. John 16. You ask the Father in My name. Not ask Me and hope the Father overhears. You go to the Father because the Son said you can.
That changed it for me.
The Father is not sitting there waiting on your résumé. He is not measuring how clean your week was. He is listening for His Son. You come in that name because that is the only name heaven already accepted.
That is why we pray in the name of Jesus. Not to sound spiritual. Because without Him we have no standing. With Him we do.
