🏆 Harry Kane ends England’s 25-year wait for a Ballon d’Or winner
🏴 Says hosting it in London was a good omen (despite all the crowd and traffic issues outside the Palladium!)
🫶 Thanks the hospitalised Vincent Kompany, England teammates, Tuchel, Spurs, fans, all his coaches
#THFC HARRY KANE IS THE 2026 #BallonDor WINNER !
"I wouldn’t be where I am today without Tottenham for sure. I was there from 11, all the guidance and all the coaches, you allowed me to live my dream. For sure without all those moments, ups and downs, it has lead me to this."
Harry Kane will walk away with at least one award from tonight's #BallonDor ceremony after being crowned winner of the Gerd Muller Trophy for his 73-goal haul for club & country.
"It was an incredible year for me to score the goals I did & something I was extremely proud of."
Lamine Yamal claims the first award on offer at Palladium Theatre as he is awarded men’s young talent of the year.
Thierry Henry teases Yamal and says “is it the one you really wanted tonight?”
Men’s winner of 2026 #BallonDor to come within the next hour…
At Palladium Theatre tonight to find out the winner of the 2026 #BallonDor.
Been an eventful few hours with Kane, Mbappe & Yamal announced in separate articles as winners at one point.
Ceremony 30 mins away and Kane has arrived with wife Kate and brother Charlie. A good sign?👀
I thought Micky was excellent on Saturday and he was really leading from the front with his bravery on the ball and these passes.
One of many in #THFC squad suddenly looking much more comfortable on the ball - the De Zerbi effect!
Probably one of my favourite pods for @TheTottenhamWay
Oh it is bloody good to talk about #THFC finally winning at Chelsea again 🤩

Special mention to an unsung hero this season who has really stepped up and goes about his job with no fuss and a very good guy who will play anywhere on the pitch without any moans!
Archie Gray 👏👏
#THFC Roberto De Zerbi: “Now winning the game we are very happy for them (the fans), very happy for the club but I think we are working to change the mentality of the club. We are a big club. In the last period the results have been not so good but we are a top club.”
What a wonderful moment for #THFC hero Matty Tel. A player we have all been frustrated with at times this season and throughout 2026, but his mentality has always been exceptional. A stroke of genius by De Zerbi to start him - no one else would have ! - and it paid off. Bravo 👏
GOAL #THFC! MATTY TELL THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE. Spurs are going to win at Stamford Bridge for only the second time in the Premier League. Tel collects deep inside his half, runs past Lacroix and rifles into the bottom corner from 25-yards to send De Zerbi off in celebration. 0-2. 87
RED CARD COLE PALMER! Palmer catches Fernandes late - not long after he barged over the Spurs midfielder - and referee Christopher Kavanagh shows a second yellow card. 0-1. 80'
GOAL #THFC! Spurs lead at Stamford Bridge for the first time since 2018 and it is a Mike Penders own-goal. Chelsea are furious that Tottenham get the corner in the first place after Solanke looked offside but Fernandes sends it in and Penders punches into his own net. 0-1. 77'
All kicking off now! Fernandes with a clever professional handball as Palmer raced away. Palmer looked to react and De Zerbi and Spurs staff go straight to fourth official Farai Hallam which sparks a melee between the benches. 0-0. 70'
Oh De Zerbi is furious on the touchline and rightly so. Kudus gets away and Marmoush is in behind the Chelsea defence and inside Spurs' half so onside, but Kudus fails to get his head up, passes to Tel and the move breaks down. Big opening squandered. 0-0. 63'
Another big stop by Kinsky as van de Ven crunches Palmer, but Fernandes' pass gifts Neto possession and his low effort is pushed away by Spurs' young goalkeeper. 0-0. 61'
Ah Maddison is crouched over and Gallagher is getting ready to come on. That is a real blow. Tonali is talking to him and Archie Gray too. Maddison cannot catch a break at the moment, but when he plays, he is so influential for Spurs. Hopefully precaution than serious. 0-0. 49
