As we were getting ready to leave, they kept telling us to hurry because they didn’t want to miss potential clients. Then one of them said, “This is the only way we survive.” Man… that statement hit me hard. 🥲 Out of pity, I gave them 150k to share among themselves and let them go. The joy on their faces was priceless. 😅 But honestly, I wasn’t happy. Nobody should have to live that kind of life just to survive. At the same time, I can’t blame them. By the time we got to the location, I had already changed my mind. We scrapped the original concept and decided to shoot only the artist and his friends instead.
