Incase you’re wondering there’s 40 characters in this picture alone
Sonic X has a lot of moments that go unappreciated and this is one of them. S3 really patched up some of the flaws the previous seasons had and it’s phenomenal.
Some people have had the audacity to say X Sonic is boring, has no screentime, when it's further from the truth.
But one thing X Sonic did so well, is how they handled Sonic at moments like this. Realise how Sonic doesn't give a speech that basically describes himself 1:1 like it's ripped from Wikipedia?
Everything about his character is told through his actions, his little replies, his expression, his exchange with Dark Oak, and the ambience of the landscape. Even when Dark Oak believes his struggle to fight is inevitable, Sonic also encourages Dark Oak to 'keep going and fighting', despite them being enemies. This contrasts so hard with IDW, which make him a mouthy character that desperately wants to bring others to his side.
X Sonic translated/interpretated the Sonic IP better than every any other Sonic media, and imo its writing eclipsed many official Sonic games too.

Just wanted to say huge props to @seikothewolf_16 For drawing my OC. I woke up and saw this in my DM’s the other day and he send me this, and its just dope as hell 😭
Please go check out his art he’s absolutely an amazing artists.
I always wondered…why exactly was Amy trying to “lose” weight in Sonic battle? Amy is 25 kg in weight (lighter than my dog) she needs to GAIN weight, not lose it, and I don’t think Sonic saw her as fat at all😭

I am not surprised in the slightest, we all saw this coming a mile away. 😭
The amount diabolical shit that was said in that server is absolutely ridiculous.
The Sonic community did justice by demanding that they change that abomination of a design which gave SEGA the glimmer of hope they needed to keep thriving. W lizuka for the pushback
#saythankyou
Agreed, I’m glad someone mentioned this, these two contrast each other so well. Sonic can move, and Helen cannot, with this concept they both can understand each others pro’s and cons, and learn from one another. I’m glad Sonic managed to make a kid have their dream come true.
