I have rewatched the entire Ole Miss/Auburn game. My thoughts are below. Tell me where you agree/disagree:
1. Trinidad using his legs creates an entirely different problem for defense. Need more of it.
2. Ole Miss has a promising group of young guys. SMK, Cunningham, Reed, Barnes, Curtis, etc.
3. Adding to #2, watching SMK get his opportunity and thrive today is what Reb fans have waited for. So great
4. The defense STILL isn’t where it needs to be. Too many missed assignments and missed tackles. LB play and DB play HAVE to be better for this program to have a chance.
5. Blake Purchase gets better every week.
6. Give Suntarine Perkins more snaps. I don’t care about the scheme. Leave him on the field.
7. The direct snap to the RB needs to be thrown out of the offensive playbook.
8. Ole Miss needs Deuce to wake up.
9. Horatio Fields continues to step up big time.
10. A 30 point SEC win is impressive, no matter how the first half looked. Proud of the Rebs.

Ole Miss left tackle Terez Davis is quietly putting together one of the most impressive pass-protection seasons in the SEC. The 6’4”, 310-pound tackle currently leads all SEC tackles in pass-blocking efficiency with an outstanding 98.9 rating, ranking ahead of some of the biggest names in college football per PFF . Through 262 pass-blocking snaps, Davis has allowed just 6 total pressures, including 5 hurries, 1 quarterback hit, and ZERO sacks. He also holds a 79.5 PFF pass-blocking grade and a perfect 100% pass-blocking participation rate. His consistency and ability to keep the quarterback clean have made him one of the most efficient offensive tackles in the conference. Davis continues to prove that he belongs in the conversation with the SEC’s top offensive linemen.
So happy that our backup, Deuce “the future of Auburn football” Knight got to get some PT and even got in the end zone in the tuneup game today!!!
Did what we were supposed to, another good win at home, saw a lot of good things in the second half. Let’s watch Florida and Georgia beat each other up and get ready for the dawgs next week
