I think a new Gremlins movie is unnecessary and just a cash grab. But since it'll be part of the Paramount-WB 30-movie minimum a year in the future, it's forgivable in my book.

If I were Paramount Pictures acquiring WB, I would just re-release the Harry Potter movies, classics, and everything else under the sun to meet the requirement of 30 films theatrically. And pull in Blumhouse to acquire independent horror films and release one each week.
