ALT That's my mummy in the centre of this picture. She's expecting me at the time. My Granny, Annie Mary Gildernew to her right and my God mother, Mary Theresa to her left. They have just been violently evicted from the home they occupied in Caledon in protest of the fact that nationalists were not entitled to housing nor voting rights. The civil rights marches to Dungannon and in Derry took place following the eviction. That was the reality of the north I was born into. Yesterday was a genuinely historic moment for us all.

Public sector workers deserve fair pay. Nothing less.
The British government is underfunding our public services and treating workers here with contempt.
Sinn Féin will keep fighting for the funding needed to deliver the pay rises our workers deserve and improve our public services.

The people of the Garvaghy Road do not want an Orange march through the heart of their community.
The British Secretary of State must respect their views and take immediate action to stop this unwanted march.
It is not sustainable for him to sit on his hands and refuse to use those powers while a community is left living with fear and anxiety, as their rights are trampled on.
