I took two weeks off between undergrad and graduate school then one week between completing my PhD and starting my postdoc.
Why?
Because I can’t afford to not work. Some of us do not have the luxury to take breaks and when we talk about mental health and well being THIS IS IT.
Thank you to the Epsilon Chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma for recognizing me as Leadership Awardee during UNC Pharmacy’s Golden Mortar Award ceremony! I’d also like to thank each of my peers who worked alongside me, shared my vision and shaped my leadership development along the way.
