Red Baron pizza is owned by CJ CheilJedang Corporation, a major South Korean multinational food, biotechnology, and lifestyle company based in Seoul, South Korea with an annual revenue of over $30 billion USD. On October 27th, one of their employees, Walter E. Zerod goes viral for having an emotionally charged outburst, after being pranked - the subject of his outburst being his work and financial hardships, while working for Red Baron. The evening of October 29th, Res Baron posts from their X account that Walt still works for them, and is the “employee of the month” - as if they were supposed to fire a guy who went viral as a working class hero a couple of days earlier. They saw the marketing opportunity, and took it. In the next couple of days, our feeds were flooded with influencer accounts posting photos of them feeding obscene amounts of this pizza to their families. For the record, Red Baron pizza is one of unhealthiest pizza options. It is highly processed, additive filled, frozen pizza slop. Just one serving of their pizza is enough to nuke the majority of your daily recommended intake of sodium, saturated fat, and carbs. Their meats are preserved with a cocktail of carcinogenic chemicals like sodium nitrite, BHA, BHT, and TBHQ. Shilling for Red Baron is not pro-American, it isn’t patriotic, it isn’t pro-working class, and it definitely it isn’t good for your families. This Hive Mind behavior has gone a little too far.
