Rockport firefighters, with assistance from other agencies, worked this brush fire in the woods off of Woodland Road on Tuesday.
Rockport working an area of brush off Woodland Road, sounds like same spot as the other week, Forest Fire 1 requesting more manpower to the scene. No size up but reported heavy smoke showing when they were walking in the woods.
Gloucester responding with USCG and Harbormaster to the area off Coffin’s Beach for a possible paddle boarder that got swept offshore and may be off the board now in the water. Rescue 1 staging at the boat ramp in town.
Harbormaster getting a female party on board their boat now approximately 1.5 miles off the beach, going to bring her back to shore while looking for her son who also went out on a board to try and help her.
