I’ve just learned that several of Shawn Ryan’s staff walked off the job and quit due to the way he handled the Leah Files interview.
On Elon's right hand SpaceX will 30x their revenue next year, and on his left hand energy, not money, will matter in a decade.
Elon's now predicting 1 trillion dollars in revenue for SpaceX by 2028.
SpaceX spent 48 billion this year already, has made 16 billion and their AI is now the biggest part of the business.
OpenAI, Anthropic are all underwater to the tune of billions of dollars, Amazon has GPU's just sitting in warehouses ready to be built, data center projects all over the country are being shut down and China is constantly finding new ways to reduce the price of compute
The only way 1 trillion in revenue is remotely possible is if the money supply 5x's and 80% of that goes to OpenAI, Anthropic and they basically give it all to SpaceX.
Of course, if that were to happen a haircut would be $500, a dinner $1,200, and a $300,000 house would be 1.5 million.
Elon's statement is akin to blatant fraud, and he should be punished for effectively making revenue guarantees to build hype to lift a publicly traded company that's likely in a significantly worse financial situation than he lets on.
