Pray for Ken, that he may learn from the example of Matthew and take up the Word of God instead of the sword of Caesar.

They arent. The trump tax costs 11000 american lifes every single day (federal spending divided by average lifetime earnings)
In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and the peoples will stream to it.
And many nations will come and say: "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways, so that we may walk in His paths." For the law will go forth from Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Then He will judge between many peoples and arbitrate for strong nations far and wide. Then they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer take up the sword against nation, nor will they train anymore for war.
And each man will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, with no one to frighten him. For the mouth of the LORD of Hosts has spoken.
Though all the nations may walk in the name of their gods, yet we will walk in the name of the LORD our God forever and ever.

You have to tell the whole story
My favorite Steve Jobs anecdote comes from the development of the iPod.
The engineers put together a very expensive one off prototype and Steve thought it was still too big, the engineers pushed back on him....
So he tossed the prototype in an aquarium and pointed to the water bubbles and said there's the wasted space.
Legally in America you can.
Unfortunately X policy is more restrictive.
I'm hoping @petersellis improves this.
Sounds like a good reason to end the income tax.
Violence is all the state has to offer humanity, it's time to move on from the folly of our youth as a species.

AI can now outperform the greatest theoretical minds in fields like mathematics and computer science, and it has barely begun to find its footing. It is a different kind of intelligence that is profoundly deeper and more powerful than anything ever demonstrated by humans.
Many of you don't understand how serious this is, so let me break it down.
In computer science there is a famous kind of puzzle called 3-SAT. You are given a long list of yes-or-no switches and a set of rules about how they must be arranged, and you have to find a combination that satisfies every rule. The obvious way to solve it is to try every combination, but each new switch doubles the number of possibilities, so a puzzle with a few hundred switches would take longer than the age of the universe to brute force.
For decades, the smartest people in the field found clever tricks that made this a little faster, but every trick still hit the same wall: the time required kept exploding as the puzzle grew.
About 25 years ago, two computer scientists, Russell Impagliazzo and Ramamohan Paturi, working with Francis Zane, turned that wall into a formal idea.
They proposed the Exponential Time Hypothesis, which says this explosion is not a failure of human cleverness but a law of nature. No algorithm, however brilliant, will ever solve 3-SAT without the time blowing up exponentially. Nobody could prove it, but almost everyone believed it, and it became one of the foundations of modern computer science.
Researchers used it as a measuring stick. If you could show that solving some other problem quickly would also crack 3-SAT quickly, you had shown that problem was hopelessly hard too. Hundreds of papers, across scheduling, graphs, logic and much more, rest on this one assumption.
Now an internal AI model at OpenAI claims to have broken it. It says it found an algorithm that solves these puzzles meaningfully faster than the hypothesis allows, and it has checked the proof in a computer verification system called Lean.
And here is the remarkable part: the very people who proposed the hypothesis, Impagliazzo and Paturi, along with MIT's Ryan Williams, are now leading the public review of whether a machine has disproved their own idea.
So what happens next? If the disproof holds, a large part of theoretical computer science has to be revisited.
Every result that said "this problem cannot be solved faster, assuming ETH" loses its foundation, and researchers will have to work out which of those walls were real and which were simply where we stopped looking. It does not mean everything becomes easy. The new algorithm is still slow in absolute terms and this is not the famous P versus NP problem being solved.
But it means our map of what is possible was wrong in a place we were very confident about, and it was an AI that redrew it. If the disproof fails, the hypothesis survives and the field breathes out, but we will still have watched an AI produce serious, checkable work on one of the deepest questions in the discipline, closely enough that the founders of the idea had to take it seriously. Either way, something has shifted.
Steve got the Vision Pro before we did.
They're literally pulling the same strategy as the Mac here.
Anyone remember that time when the USG released an Unreal based shooter called America's Army, where both sides of the fight were given the impression that they were the good Americans fighting the evil terrorists...
Yeah I still think about that a lot. @TimSweeneyEpic

My second favorite anecdote is that one time he basically told an audience full of college interns at Apple to drop acid to expand their mind.

The refutation of the Exponential Time Hypothesis is somewhat deflationary when you look into the details.
The Exponential Time Hypothesis says that a certain problem (3-satisfiability) cannot be solved in less than 2^n time.
They gave an algorithm that solves it in 2^(n/√log(n)) time.
It feels like mathematical superintelligence is pushing the edges of human mathematics and only changing the landscape slightly.
If it's not clear to you by now, I often say intentionally absurd things.
This is one such time.
Why do I do this?
Because nobody has figured out anything else that works, so I try to fuzz the statist mind like any other computer system.

This is an excellent point I hadn't considered.
The income tax code fundamentally incentivizes the corporate ownership of housing because corporate persons can deduct the expenses in a way that natural persons cannot.
Perhaps the equal protection language of 14th amendment might be put to good use here?
Replying to @LukeGromen @pulte
Real estate generates cash flow. Some people value the cash flow as much as asset appreciation. Nevertheless, individuals should be able to expense their own property, maintenance, and repair the same way corporations do. The asymmetry creates the crisis.
That's a funny way to say that the Federal Government has so thoroughly wormed itself into the daily lives of the American people that it's impossible to avoid.
“If you are in this country illegally, it is virtually impossible for you to live in this country and not commit additional legal violations—working without authorization, identity theft. There’s a lot of illegality that goes on when you are breaking the law.” @DHSGenCounsel
