Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face.
These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy.
While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.

On Election Day, the American people spoke loud and clear: they are done with the corruption, incompetence, and callousness coming from the White House and the capitulation of Republican leaders. As I traveled the country to campaign for Democrats up and down the ballot, I witnessed the resolve of the people to turn pain into purpose, and anger into action.
I congratulate all the great candidates who ran fantastic races and the thousands of volunteers who made calls, knocked on doors, and ensured Democrats won resoundingly.
Now, the work begins to actually deliver results. The American people have elected Democrats across the country in federal, state, and local races who must be ruthless in using every lever of power to deliver economic relief for working families and hold this administration accountable for their deep-seated corruption.
The people demand nothing less.

Remember Kamala Harris, Stacey Abrams and many a Black woman had faith in the south before others grew wise to it.
Bless them.
"Some Democrats have just basically said, 'Oh, that's nice if you wanna do some work in the South, but we can't win the South, therefore we will not put the resources into it.' That's a huge mistake… and if we're going to be a party that cares about all the people, we have to put the resources into speaking with them and most importantly, first and foremost, listening."

In all of this, let’s not forget the Democrats who ran before. Especially Stacey Abrams in Georgia and Beto O’Rourke in Texas. They laid the groundwork, and when they lost, they stayed and helped build the infrastructure for the next person. You have to invest in these states, even when you lose. And thank God for that investment.
I can’t stand this weak mfer… but it is what it is. We here

Bias is ingrained in every human being, but I don't think we understand just how much it can distort someone's perception of reality. It can completely cloud your judgment to the point where you're looking directly at something and seeing something entirely different.
When it comes to the NBA media who vote on awards, I think there's a much bigger problem. At some point, you're no longer evaluating what a player is actually doing on the court. You're evaluating the player you've already convinced yourself you're watching.
