To untrouble myself for the day... To all of my artist friends... We work our ass off for our craft, but our gains aren't like going to a gym unless we talk about these things with others. We need to be able to talk with those we meet even in our daily lives and show them how the beauty of art is in everything. Not in obligation or because we WANT them to have something to say or contribute. But because it is interesting. Like an oddly shaped squirrel that you both happen to be seeing. In my case, I can take something in a show/movie/book/recent news story, take a look at it, and begin to use my understanding of storytelling to point out any neat things I noticed. And yeah, just because I write fiction for fun doesn't mean my skills are only useful in make-believe.

It's time to get myself in trouble. Anyone who says 'A world run by women would have more peace and less war' has never seen how female social circles work or has a silent caveat they attach in their brain of 'once I'm at the top of it'. Because I've seen these social circles, even the ones that present themselves outwardly as united and peaceful. But literally every single time their social interactions are full of back stabbing, gossiping, and giving terrible advice disguised as 'I'm just looking out for you' that can only ever make the friend it was suggested to as unhappy as the one giving the advice in the given field the recommendations come from. A world run by women would be cloak and dagger, constantly poisoning other heads of state while gossiping in Epstein circles and constantly making terrible advice on what your next political move for your country should be while either having already suffered because of it and wanting to share the misery in hopes it gets better or to ruin their nation to make your own look better. And for the women who are too far gone and most likely want to literally kill me right now, I want you to do the thing you haven't done in nearly a decade. Look at the women who are in your life giving you this solidarity and advice. Does having you in the state you currently are remove you from the dating pool, stigmatize you to the larger casual social world, or deface your natural beauty in the same way that a solid gold trump statue on a HBCU would? I think if you sit down and really consider my point instead of trying to cast some kind of hex on me you will see what I'm talking about. I'm not saying you are the problem. I'm saying it is the rest of the women in your life. I don't hate you no matter how much you, rightfully given your life and situation, hate all men. I'm saying that you need to understand the sisterhood has purposely betrayed you to make themselves feel better.

Let me make this clear... I do not, will not, cannot EVER use Em Dashes. I know I have fellow writers that are defending them from being claimed as proof of AI slop. I get it and I admire your work... BUT I FUCKING HATE THEM!!! They are ugly, disruptive, and ruin the lovely flow of an otherwise innocent sentence that just wanted to inform the audience of things. You cut it in half with a big ugly gash and I hate them so much.

You can find the link here: kickstarter.com/projects/en-… Undying Flame is volume 1 of my novel series and I am finally making a supplemental comic that will not only eventually allow for some insights and elaborations as to what was going on beyond what Kaen could see but hopefully make the series even more accessible to people who may not wish to read a novel! In a fantasy setting where powers are born from the bloodlines of those not even from this time and place and a dark influence lurks in the shadows of the world intent to throw it into chaos, we follow a young man and his friends during times of great change... You may think you have heard this story before, but I can promise it will surprise you long before we reach the end of these tales.

You are posing as a fictional character on the internet… The 34th rule is a law of physics… I’ve literally accepted that the moment I publicly released my fictions that it was inevitable even if lewding my characters isn’t on my own docket. It happens and you can’t control it. Leave the matter be and accept that creeps on the internet will always exist in a healthy fan ecosystem and it is now your responsibility to avoid them by virtue of being a figure in public by your own choice. It sucks. Nobody likes it or thinks it is okay. But much like drunk driving and talking during movies it is an evil we have all accepted as just a part of life. You chose this path, you get the hazards with it. Genuinely, I’m sorry for your struggles.

One of the greatest opening lines in all of fiction written by one of the funniest authors I have ever read and without a doubt a sincere inspiration not only for me to write but for why I write some things in my fiction the way that I do.

And this right here... This is why I don't care anymore if I ever 'make it' as an author and creative. The industry sickens me, the people in it hate the craft, and more than anything they are just insufferable and lazy assholes who feel they are owed anything in this world.
