We're so proud to partner with some amazing organisations including @GoldKeyBristol, @CFBristol & @OpenMentalHlth. Sharing our skills, perspectives & tools is vital to create real change for our communities and their people. Our impact in 2022 – second-step.co.uk/about-us/s…
TW: suicide We set up our Stepladder project and the Hope Project because we recognised that we need better ways to reach men in mental health crisis. We’re glad to see that @SajidJavid also wants a fresh approach to suicide prevention. Change is long overdue.
Suicide is the biggest cause of death in men under the age of 50. This week @SajidJavid met bereaved families @PAPYRUS_tweets to hear their experiences as part of the work to develop a 10-year suicide prevention strategy to reduce the number of people taking their own lives.
