NHS nurse for 14 yrs, which I’m very proud to be. Prefer to keep my anonymity…you know! Extremely fond of marine lives. Think Tories are heartless and corrupt

Hey White House, please remove the Tropic Thunder clip. We never gave you permission and have no interest in being a part of your propaganda machine. War is not a movie.

Can someone PLEASE help these Orcas 🙏. This the heartbreaking moment two Orcas are seen lifelessly floating in their abandoned enclosures before they suddenly start to perform when they saw the drone above them. A mother and son left behind at a now defunct marine park in France were caught on a drone floating in the murky water. The Orcas, believed to be 23-year-old Wikie and 11-year-old Keijo, appear to be close to death, according to co-founder of activist group Tidebreakers, Marketa Schusterova. Schusterova says the Orcas in Marineland of Antibes are struggling ever since the park closed down in January because of a new law banning orcas from performing for the public in France. Activists have pleaded with officials and the owners of Marineland to take drastic action to save Wikie and Keijo.

UK govt still hasn't said anything.
There is an aggressor: Russia. There is a victim: Ukraine. We were right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia three years ago—and to keep doing so. By “we,” I mean the Americans, the Europeans, the Canadians, the Japanese, and many others. Thank you to all who have helped and continue to do so. And respect to those who have been fighting since the beginning—because they are fighting for their dignity, their independence, their children, and the security of Europe.

Mr. President, Ukraine did not “start” this war. Russia launched an unprovoked and brutal invasion claiming hundreds of thousands of lives. The Road to Peace must be built on the Truth.🇺🇸🇺🇦 “Russia Invades Ukraine in Largest European Attack Since WWII” @FoxNews (February 24, 2022) foxnews.com/world/russian-in…

8 major hospitals have declared critical incidents in the last 24hrs alone. Some of the 100s patients are stranded on trolleys, in corridors & in the back of ambulances will likely die there. This isn’t normal, inevitable or attributable to viruses alone. It’s a catastrophe.

We are calling for tighter restrictions on fireworks following the death of Roxie, our endangered red panda kit, on bonfire night. Our expert vet team believe it's likely that three-month-old Roxie died due to stress caused by fireworks in the local area.

I called families to tell them their beloved was dying. I read out messages from absent family members. I saw the British public behave with such *staggering* decency as they obeyed the rules to protect the vulnerable. Is my anger 'overblown'? She has absolutely no idea.

This disgusting Israeli spokesperson - engaging in unhinged atrocity denial - is not just a former director of Labour Friends of Israel. He was the director of David Lammy’s campaign for London mayor in 2014-15. The David Lammy who is now Foreign Secretary.
'There is a movement of fabrication of events within the Palestinian authority.' Israeli government spokesman David Mencer dismisses reports of an Israeli airstrike burning tents at a Gaza hospital, telling @BenKentish the story has been 'fabricated to spark global outrage'.

Shortly after our 'dinky minke' encounter in the NE Lewis #MPA, we found one dead in the same area. Signs indicate it had become entangled in #fishing gear. Although we'll never know if it was the same #whale, it seems likely it was 💔🐳 so much for being in a 'protected' area!

But what if the suffering that drives some people into finding life unbearable is avoidable, unnecessary suffering? Suffering that could & would be alleviated - if only UK palliative care services weren’t a threadbare patchwork of appallingly underfunded inadequacy? 1/3

A polar bear appears in Iceland for the first time in eight years and is shot by the authorities as a risk to the public. The bear 🐻 probably reached the mainland via a floating iceberg. This is a disgrace

We don’t deserve this planet and they don’t deserve this cruelty and M&S need to be better or they don’t deserve our custom.
Our 2 year investigation at this RSPCA Assured M&S select flagship farm uncovered horrific abuse of cows. M&S have previously used this horror farm in their promotional videos and advertisements. If this is the best of the best and the ‘highest welfare’ dairy in the UK, that should tell you everything you need to know… Footage was taken in 2022 and 2024. Full investigation here: youtu.be/wXMqaLcHd_g Ditch dairy, be vegan.

The Saturday victims secretly dumped ..all wasted lives 👺 “We cannot comprehend the waste and disregard shown for these animals. Discovering the location yesterday, where the remains of more than 150 dolphins were dumped, explains why the whalers waited until all activists were out of sight before driving their two trucks far from Skalafjord to conceal this horrific scene. If anyone is seriously considering the argument that the Faroese community needs to eat dolphin meat to survive, these images should give them reason to reconsider. The story of these dolphins is the story of a wealthy society where some members are trapped in a past when whaling meant survival. Today, whaling means wasting the planet's precious life. It means neglecting nature and the environment, even though all needs and more are met. It means clinging to outdated traditions and habits at the expense of wildlife. It means refusing to heed the world around you, because pride is taken in violence and cruelty toward animals. The traits on display during this atrocity, and evident to us all when whalers call for a kill, are the very things driving the destruction of our planet and the species we share it with.” How you can help: - You can help us by following, because we do make calls to actions from time to time, where we NEED you. - You can amplify our work by sharing it and talking to your network about it - You can contact your local political representative and tell them that you want your party to engage in this on a national level or at the EU level, by collaborating with our coalition STG ( stopthegrind.org) - You can go to your local stores and restaurants and ask them if they have Faroese fish, and if they do, you want them to remove them from the shelves until the killing stops. - Keep in contact with us, if you have good local ideas that can strengthen the support for our work. - You can volunteer and you can donate. #STOPtheGrind #BoycottFaroeIslands Text and images of Sea Shepherd Førøyar
