G2s continued their good run of form in the college cup, drawing 2-2 with last terms Premier division winners - James 1s. Twice, the 2s were pegged back from a winning position, Luke Seaman picked up his first goal for the college and James Simmonds scored the second. MOTM: Rehan

The Lardner era and Goodricke 2’s started off with a draw against Derwent 1’s in the group stage of the College Cup today, with a goal from Simmons. Once again demonstrating how huge Goodricke College FC really is. #FuckDerwent

Sadly no reporter was able to make it pitch side but we’ve been told that Goodricke 3’s absolutely battered Langwith 2’s 7-0 earlier today on the 3G, sending them down to the fourth tier of college football #tinpotcollege #greenarmy

Kammy’s been at the 3G and reported back to us in the studio that the 2s infact won 4-0 today despite interference preventing us seeing him live. 2s are staying up on the last game of the season... again

Right, just got here and Goodricke are 4-0 up. Imagine.
On our way to report on the 2’s final game of the season. It comes with a simple ultimatum: win and stay in Division 1 or lose and face relegation. Up the 2’s!

Game ends Langwith 5’s 3-0 Goodricke 4’s. Troubling times with some fans chanting #HOPOUT at the final whistle. Talks between Hopson and the board to happen later in the day.

(86’) Murray has an effort saved by the Langwith keeper. Hard to believe Goodricke haven’t scored yet.
(82’) Hadad has a long range effort from 25 yards that rattled the crossbar. Begging the question, is today not Goodricke’s day?
(79’) long range afford from Shah inches wide. Goodricke still creating.
(78’) penalty converted. 2-0 Langwith.
(77’) Goodman gives away a penalty. Shaky times for the 4’s. Can Dixon pull something out of the top drawer to keep us in it?
(75’) great ball through to Murray who knocks it past one to go through on goal with a Langwith player then making an important tackle to get a Goodricke corner. A goal is coming.
(70’) a defensive mistake puts Langwith through 1 on 1 only for their striker to blaze it wide. A let off for Goodricke.
(64’) Hopson has an audacious effort from outside the area which ends up hitting a low flying commercial plane. 17 casualties reported so far.

(60’) Goodman has a wonderful run from centre back dancing past 4 players before a tackle from their centre back results in a throw near the corner flag. All Goodricke so far in the second half.
