NIGERIANS, WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🇳🇬 INEC has restricted the amount of time each person can spend on its website, so we need as many people as possible to help with this exercise. Here’s what we’re doing: We’re counting the number of registered voters in each polling unit for 2027 and comparing it with the number of registered voters in that same polling unit in 2023. INEC won’t show us the full register, so we have to do this ourselves, one polling unit at a time. Here’s how you can help. It takes just 60 seconds! STEP 1: Go to this link ⤵️ check.nigeriaelects.com STEP 2: Copy the code generated where it says “Your Polling Unit”. It’s the code containing numbers and dashes. STEP 3: Go to the INEC website and scroll down to “Find a Polling Unit”. Paste the code you copied into the PU Code box and click “Find”. STEP 4: The polling unit information will appear, including the number of registered voters. Copy ONLY the number of registered voters (the whole number, without the dashes). STEP 5: Return to the first website, paste the number into the space provided for registered voters and click Submit. That’s all! See the attached video for a visual guide. 60 seconds of your time can help us build a clearer picture of what’s happening with our voters’ register. Please participate and share this with other Nigerians. The more people who help, the more polling units we can cover. Let’s get to work! 🇳🇬

GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY Good day, Mr President. I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office. I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target. Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world. Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government. The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

the middle class in Nigeria don’t realize that eating the rich starts with eating the poor, then the middle class before the rich 😂

Almost unbelievable we're here but the past 5 months of serving customers has been an amazing journey. Thank you to our day 1 users & believers (and everyone who quite frankly wanted to tear my shirt). @OwegoApp is now available for download on any device. I'm so excited for what this new phase brings and seeing how everyone interacts with this.

Location really matters in destiny. If you're based in Kogi, Ekiti, Kwara, Bayelsa or Uyo, my brother, you are very far from a successful destiny. Forget statistics quoted by that Twitter page. Seeing is believing. If you like be swallowing figures. Better travel.

When I got laid off from Microsoft, I got into a company in Lagos that felt paying 600k naira a month was doing me a favour. I had to take the offer to keep body and soul together. Was there for 6 months until I fell out with the MD and started looking out. That was when I started my training outfit but couldn't quite get traction. Anyway, after leaving this NGO, I spent another 5 months in the wilderness, literally. Ate rejections almost every other day. Was living on the goodwill of friends and relations. Basically wondering what to get out of life. An Antler rep came knocking at the time and was in the process of fast tracking my application to the Antler cohort at Kenya. Guess what? My passport had expired. Ran to go fast track my passport, after a few days emailed the partner but was told it was too late. I remember laying in my room laughing hysterically, mulling to myself, "who I offend?" Thankfully at that time, I applied to Andela and the process started for another 2 months. I got into Andela and my monthly salary was my previous annual salary. This trend continued in a subsequent company. Use am run one or two that year. But the point is, while I was enjoying this new reality, I asked myself, "why did you worry all those times?" In hindsight, there was no reason to. I should have just chilled for 5 months, enjoyed myself. But we are human and can only understand life in hindsight. As long as you believe this it will work out for you: EVERYTHING will turn out better than you expected, just stop worrying.
When it all works out, you'll be so pissed with yourself that you worried so much.
