The world ended on July 4th, 2012 when we discovered the Higgs Boson, the “God Particle” during a run of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
Technology moved drastically forward, seemingly without us, while humans rely on it instead of control it.
Creativity and ingenuity have ceased. There is no decade to decade changes in culture ie music, fashion, movies. You could distinctly tell the 1900s to the 2000s in pictures, film and the popular music as tidy 10 year blocks that were completely different from the next 10. It’s the example of The Office tv show, the American version. It ran for what 17 years? And you cannot distinguish around what year it is aside from the actors’ ages.
Somewhere around July 2012 is where we culturally just.. stopped advancing. We moved towards automation, simulation, music that no one can latch onto or recognize, no songs of the summer.. reboots and sequels of old movies(with the original cast) out of a desperate need for nostalgia. All the while feeling like time is accelerating
We broke something that day. We all feel it unraveling and know something huge is around the corner.
I'm a Flyers fan but that was not an Instigator penalty. McDonald's gloves may have even been off first when they made eye contact. It's the worst freaking rule in hockey by the way.
Jaylen Brown is just so good. I cannot believe the Sixers went and grabbed him, for literally nothing. What's happening in this game is what this dude was built for.
Fleecing of the century.
It’s that time of year.. to watch Threads. The scariest movie ever. youtu.be/IUmUz8ol9Ow?is=SUFd…
The discussion needs to start whether Rick Tocchet makes it out of October.. let alone the next week.
Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”
“I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
So a healthy Jalen Hurts was just yanked from the huddle to allow the backup to nuke the drive? After the Trevor Lawrence shit yesterday, the NFL and Vegas have some real explaining to do.
I would actually be interested in a discussion on this Supertramp album cover. No way the band had anything to do with this, but the record companies may have some 'splaining to do.
This log scale Fib I whipped up back in April, a macro 126k top to 58k bottom has a .382 resting right in the 77.8k area. It has been respected since the breakout, and I may have stumbled onto our real battleground for price action here. bitcoin:native
We did the same little dance on this top to bottom macro Fib(log scale) in April.
.382 always has some extra juice behind it, as the converse of the .618 golden ratio.. 61.8% of the move down from 126k to 58k sits right near 78k. We rejected once. Can bulls hang on? bitcoin:native
10 minutes until one of the best weekly $BTC candles in a good while. I wonder how the next one will react.
