Life is hard for everyone, whether you are rich now or struggling.
We all have our own battles, but deep down we all want the same things from Life…good health, peace of mind, & the chance to see more tomorrows ❤️🙏🏿

A girl is currently using her marriage as content on TikTok. You know you are not having issues with your husband but you started a content where you both are cussing out each other. The things we do for content in this generation and for views is insane.

My father attended my graduation ceremony wearing the same shirt he wore to weddings, funerals, and church every Sunday.
I was embarrassed when I saw him.
My classmates’ parents arrived in expensive clothes, took pictures with professional cameras, and booked restaurants to celebrate.
My father came with a small nylon bag containing two boiled eggs and a bottle of water.
When I introduced him to my friends, I simply said, “This is my dad.”
I didn't hug him.
He noticed, but he smiled anyway.
After the ceremony, he asked if I wanted to eat somewhere.
I told him I had plans with my friends.
He gave me the nylon bag.
“Eat something before you go. You haven't eaten since morning.”
I collected it and walked away.
That evening, I posted pictures with my friends. I didn't post the one with him.
Three days later, my father called.
He asked if I had received the money he sent through my elder sister.
I said yes.
He said, “Good. I sold the generator to raise it. I wanted you to have something to celebrate with your friends.”
I went silent.
Our generator had been the only thing that made our house bearable during hot nights. My father had spent months repairing it whenever it broke down.
I asked him why he didn't tell me.
He laughed softly.
“What would you have done? Refused the money?”
I couldn't answer.

You don’t know how heavy the water is when it’s someone else carrying the bucket. 🪣
It’s easy to judge someone’s decisions when you’re not the one facing their reality. It’s easy to say, “I would never do that,” when you’ve never been in their shoes. It’s easy to tell people to be strong when you’re not the one fighting their battles.
Never be too quick to judge a struggle you’ve never had to carry. Everyone has a burden you may know nothing about. Before you criticise, try to understand.
The bucket may look small from where you stand, but only the person carrying it knows its weight.

Sometimes, the people who raised you are the same people you have to heal from.

If I buy my wife a deep freezer as a push gift and she sell it to get herself a wig, I won't panic I guess it her right and I was stupid
I will wait for her to deliver safely so that my mum will nurse and raise my baby while she packed her bag and move to her father's house

When you leave your children with their father. 🫠The baby is so relaxed more than some people’s relationships. 🤭

I promised my girlfriend never to watch her suffer in this life alone. So whenever she starts suffering, I turn a blind eye on her to keep my promise
