Public question to @larabirdsnp and Kate Nevens:
You were held for around eight hours by Israeli authorities and then turned away at the Allenby Bridge while trying to enter the West Bank as part of a Progressive International delegation.
Your stated aim was solidarity with olive harvesters and events in Ramallah.
Meanwhile, back in Scotland:
Drug deaths hit 1,133 in 2025 an 11% rise, still the highest rate in Europe by a wide margin, with cocaine and nitazenes driving the toll.
This is after more than a decade of SNP government.
Homeless deaths rose 38% to 232 in 2025.
The Scottish Government declared a housing emergency, yet the numbers keep climbing.
Child poverty and food insecurity remain entrenched, with large numbers of Scottish families relying on food banks and cutting back on meals.
You are elected to represent people in Scotland and at Westminster.
Is flying out on a foreign solidarity trip, then complaining about being stopped, the best use of your time right now?
These are the people some of you trust to run Scotland?

Astounding Sunday Times investigation reveals new scandal in SNP’s Socialist Scotland:
800 NHS, central government, council and quango workers whose jobs no longer exist but remain on the public payroll because of the SNP’s ‘no public-sector redundancy’ policy.
Estimated cost of paying people to do nothing: £27m a year.
One NHS Highland worker has been receiving a full salary and benefits for 17 years despite not having a specific job.
The health board refused to say what the worker had been doing for almost two decades and how much they had been paid.
Likely cost to the taxpayer is expected to be far higher with several public bodies refusing to disclose salaries for hundreds of the workers awaiting redeployment.

For the avoidance of doubt (since some have been asking), the 800 on the Scottish public payroll without proper jobs does NOT include the 129 MSPs in Holyrood 🤣🤣🤣

This has to be the best tweet of the week by @mcgillswest .
“Sandy Easdale, who owns McGill's alongside his brother James, said Swinney "appears to have transformed into the next Idi Amin or Robert Mugabe".
"Both men, incidentally, who bankrupted their countries through catastrophic financial policies," he added”.
Communism didn’t work in Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall fell in 1989.
However the SNP have a new kind of kid-on Communism by state ownership and keeping people in Pandora boxes of the freebies.
This type of policy does not drive an economy or support people where they need support into work.
The country is already bankrupt by £5 Billion.

.@ShabanaMahmood and @ukhomeoffice this so called "refugee" should never be allowed to step foot in the UK again.
Why are taxpayers funding the proof reading of this idiot's book?

The reality is he’ll be best remembered for giving £750K to Hamas and falling off his scooter.

Wow. @Ross_Greer on @BBCRadioScot states clearly that ‘Zionism is racism’. The Jewish community in Scotland will be appalled by this. No mainstream political party in Scotland should now have anything to do with the extremist anti-Semitic @scottishgreens.

🚨A BRITISH SOLDIER SPEAKS FOR MILLIONS
“I sacrificed my life to secure this country's freedom and its freedom of speech — and now you arrest people for words while turning a blind eye to crimes committed by invaders. You are a disgrace to your uniform and you are an insult to mine.”
A moment like this cuts through everything.
When a serving soldier—in full uniform—has to remind the police what this nation stands for, it proves just how far we’ve fallen.
Britain’s armed forces understand sacrifice, duty, and loyalty to the people.
They also see betrayal when it's unfolding right in front of them.
This is not about politics.
This is about truth, honour, and the survival of the nation our soldiers pledged their lives to defend.
History will look back on these days, and those who stayed silent will not be remembered kindly.
FOLLOW ME, NEXT DROP WILL BE SHOCKING.

Danny Tommo has been refused bail, again.
After yesterday's events, it is a filthy disgrace.
