funny how in fandom discourse it’s always “AROACE PEOPLE CAN STILL DATE” so people can freely ship aroace character but when an actual real aroace person says “i wouldn’t be opposed to dating someone” suddenly it’s a flood of people yelling “you’re not REALLY aroace then”

exactly ! people talk about like it's some non existent thing that never happens. sophie williams waited 5 years and was told she had to start all over again for changing her address, also took her own life. alice litman waited 1023 days before taking her own life in 2022.
