Our families, farmers, and small businesses have all taken a hit because of Donald Trump. From his reckless tariffs to his war of choice in Iran, the President’s decisions are raising prices and making your day-to-day more expensive.
I know you’re pissed — and frankly, I am too.
When we see this chaos at the federal level, you might feel like government isn’t working anymore. Or, in Donald Trump’s case, government is only working for him and his friends.
But here in Pennsylvania, we’ve brought Democrats and Republicans together to cut taxes TEN TIMES. And we’re taking care of Pennsylvanians — fixing roads quickly, helping farmers who have lost their crops, getting K-5 students recess and every student free breakfast, putting more money in retired public servants’ pockets, helping out student teachers, our nurses, and more….
I want every Pennsylvanian who is struggling right now to know: No matter what Donald Trump tries next, I’ll never stop working to make sure that here in Pennsylvania — government works for you.
BREAKING: The PA House and Senate just officially passed a bell-to-bell ban to get cell phones out of our classrooms.
I called for this in my Budget Address and repeatedly urged the legislature to act — and now, we've brought Democrats and Republicans together to get this done for our students and our educators.
It's time to get back to the basics in school and let our kids be kids.
It’s 2026, and there are still a lot of Pennsylvanians who don’t have access to reliable, high-speed internet because of something called the digital divide.
Here’s what we’re doing to close it once and for all. Let me explain.
Today, I joined fallen Officer Shane Seiber’s family, his loved ones, his @PhillyPolice brothers and sisters, and the entire City of Philadelphia in honoring his memory and life of service.
Officer Seiber was a true public servant, and he was the best of us. He cared deeply about making others’ lives better — and he demonstrated that by choosing to live a life of service. He served two tours in Iraq with the United States Air Force — and even after he returned to civilian life, he continued his commitment to serving others when he decided to become a police officer with the Philadelphia Police Department.
As I’ve listened to stories about Shane from some of the officers who served with him, it struck me how his kindness shone through in every memory they shared. To them, he was known as “Colgate” for his big smile that could light up any room. He was a team player — someone who you could always count on to have your back.
For 10 years, Shane put on the uniform and the badge every day, kissed his family goodbye, and left home to protect and serve his neighbors. While his life was cut far too short, we all have a collective responsibility to come together and remember his life of service and the ultimate sacrifice he made to keep his community safe.
Policing is a noble profession, and those who take on the incredibly difficult task of protecting our communities deserve our profound gratitude and deep respect.
Lori and I join this community in praying for Shane’s wife Lisa, their two kids — Finn and Emily — his mother Michelle, his stepfather, Nelson, his brothers John and Max, and his sister Sophia — along with all of Shane’s family and everyone who loved him.
May God offer you comfort and strength in this time of mourning, and may Officer Shane Seiber’s memory forever be a blessing.
Donald Trump tried to prevent Pennsylvania voters from making their voices heard in this election by attempting to limit mail-in voting.
We took him to court to protect your right to vote by mail — and we won.
As a result, every eligible voter in Pennsylvania can safely and securely cast their ballot by mail this November.
Here’s something to be hopeful about on this Monday: Every single K-5 student in Pennsylvania will have mandatory recess starting next school year.
Just the latest way we’re doing right by our kids and improving public education here in Pennsylvania.
Nurses are the backbone of our health care system here in Pennsylvania — but right now, we’re facing a critical nursing shortage across the Commonwealth.
That’s why last week we launched the Nurse Shortage Assistance Program — where hospitals partner with local nurse education programs and offer students guaranteed jobs after graduation. This Commonwealth program will also help those nurses pay off up to $60,000 of student loan debt.
Real experience. A guaranteed job. Lower debt to help them pay their bills.
We’ve seen this same model succeed in getting more qualified teachers in our classrooms — now we’re using it to get more qualified nurses in our hospitals.

Lifesaving treatments developed right here in Pennsylvania. That’s a big deal.
For those keeping track at home — in just the last week, we’ve landed major investments from two of the world’s biggest life sciences companies AND announced an historic public-private investment to support PhilaPort's largest expansion in history.
What does that mean for Pennsylvania?
Thousands of new jobs. That’s GSD.
BREAKING: Secretary Redding and I were just at Milky Way Farm in Chester County to announce our Commonwealth’s FIRST EVER strategic plan for agriculture.
My Administration has had our farmers' backs in good times and in bad. And now, we’re looking out for their future, too. This 10-year roadmap was developed by listening to the people who actually live on our farmlands and know this industry best.
This plan we unveiled today will solidify Pennsylvania ag as the best in the nation — get more people working on our farms, strengthen the industry by making us more competitive, increase access to markets, and give our farmers the tools they need to thrive for generations to come.
LIVE NOW: I’m with Sec. Redding and Sec. Siger at Milky Way Farms in Chester County to announce our Commonwealth’s first-ever 10-year strategic plan to grow Pennsylvania agriculture.

BREAKING: I’m taking historic action to protect PPL customers from higher energy costs and hold data center developers accountable for their energy use.
Pennsylvanians shouldn't have to pay higher electric bills because data center developers plug into the grid. That’s why I filed to intervene in a utility rate case that would force PPL to stop passing data center energy costs on to consumers.
It’s time for data center developers to pay their fair share. And I’ll continue fighting to make sure utility companies are focused on keeping costs down while maintaining safe and reliable service.
