Over 55 Small holder poultry farmers in Faza receiving 1600 indigenous chicken from LCG in partnership with ASDSP ||. The groups also received 2 incubators & 95 bags of chicken mash as part of boosting poultry farming to unlock the full potential for the sub sector in Lamu.

The summit comes at an opportune time when @lamu_countyKE is developing its 3rd Generation of County Integrated Development Plans (CIDPs), which is an essential tool that incorporates the development programmes and projects in Lamu.
The summit seeks to ensure there is a seamless collaboration between the county and the national government so as to strengthen devolution in and ensure effective coordination of programmes across the 47 Counties.
Gracing Lamu CECM’s and CO’s induction workshop at Mombasa that was organized by KSG. I urged them to remain dedicated so as to help my administration deliver its development agenda to the great people of Lamu.

BOMU hospital to set up a 52 bed capacity ultra modern hospital in Hindi this year.
With BOMU hospital CEO Dr. Aabid Ahmed when he paid me a courtesy call in my Mokowe office. BOMU has agreed to set up a 52 bed capacity in Hindi.
@lamu_countyKE will set up a cotton ginnery in Mpeketoni as part of my administration efforts to revive cotton farming in the county.
Towards supporting cotton farmers, my admin. will give 8 tones of cotton seeds to over 6,000 farmers which is an increase from 4 tonnes that were given last year.
My administration will help Manyatta (Bahari Ward) inferno victims to rebuild their lives. The fire razed down 10 houses and left dozens of families displaced.
