Day 4's mental health tip: Give your brain a break and hit the gym/yoga studio/trail or whatever you like to do to be active! Exercise can help improve memory and thinking, and there's the added benefit of improving your physical health.
Mental health tip #3: Every university has mental health programs that allow students to talk to people that are appropriately trained. This week, we urge you to look into these programs at your universities so you know where to go if you ever need/want to talk to a professional.
Tip for Day 2 of our mental health week: take a break from the lab/computer/books/etc. and socialize to keep your sanity! Communication helps to break up the monotony of the day and the cycle of loneliness grad students often experience. It's also a plus to have a support system!
