Republicans had control of all three branches of Government and couldn’t get year-round E-15 passed surely voting for them again will get it done ?🤔
Trump at an Iowa rally touted his emergency waiver letting Iowa sell E15 year-round — a top priority for the state's corn and ethanol producers — and promised to make it permanent if Ashley Hinson wins her Senate race: "We also gave Iowa an emergency waiver to sell E15 all year round, and with Ashley in the Senate, we will make it year round E15. We'll make it permanent."

This is a fair comment I just tell Farmers get on X or get left behind Plenty of alpha here from a lot of people dropping ideas daily on various topics If they need more information they can pay for it, most don’t - our industry expects everything for free and that’s why most operations end up revving their engines in neutral 🤷‍♂️

Man what stinks for the farmers is that the age of decision makers generally makes them slower to adapt to something like that. How do you cross that bridge?

someone should just make an AI bot for Farmers on how to maximize all the government programs to their benefit - crop insurance, subsidies, grants, low carbon etc guarantee you that is more valuable to Farmers that don’t find speculation or the storage game interesting at all

Impressive recovery in corn today 🌽 Is the USDA damage finally done? We broke below the August lows today before reversing +9 cents off the lows and closing green This potential reversal is happening at a key level It’s the August lows and the bottom of that old range from last year We’re also sitting at a massive shelf of volume that we’d like to see act as support We do have to be mindful that there is a large gap of air to the downside if we fail here. But for now it’s viewed as support Dec corn is also the most oversold it has ever been for this contract. Which adds more optimism of finding support here Can’t hate today’s price action but we need to see some follow through before getting overly excited *** Want some help deciding when to pull the trigger in your grain marketing? Shawty Dred, SNAP is for feeding hungry Americans, NOT feeding your hustle. 💸🚫 The taxpayer-funded gravy train is OVER. Thanks to @VP, @WHFraudTF, @DepSecVaden, @USDA_FNA and USDA OIG’s John Walk for helping put SNAP fraud on notice. 🇺🇸

The 29¢ Dec26-Jul27 carry lets farmers lock in a storage return by selling July futures against bin corn. That premium covers costs only if your all-in ownership expense (interest, shrinkage, insurance, opportunity) stays under ~4¢/bu/month plus any basis gain. Compare your true costs to the offered carry. Hedge and hold if the edge is positive; sell cash or nearby otherwise. Re-evaluate as basis and spreads shift.

hey @grok, if you have Corn in a storage bin on the Farm and don’t sell futures against it, do you earn a carry on the grain?
