Alex Pretti's mother: The federal government went on TV and lied about Alex. They tried to slander Alex to cover up their crime. We want to clear our son's name, and the world to understand who Alex really was. We want our son's killers brought to justice once and for all. We are begging for the Department of Justice to hold the men who murdered our son accountable for what they did.

Trump: "I don't give a damn. We're making a fortune." Guess who "we" is? Him, with $81 million in oil and gas stocks and more trades than all 535 members of Congress combined. Make your voting plan and send that "we" a message at the ballot box. #BlueWaveIn7Days

NEW: MAGA voters say they're going to the polls to fight “communism”—but when asked what communism actually means, things get awkward FAST. In The Daily Show's upcoming special “Red Flags,” Jordan Klepper puts Republican voters on the spot with one simple question. Their answers are something else. These two minutes are worth watching. If you haven’t watched this yet please do. I don’t care if you are Republican or Democrat, if this doesn’t move you to vote against the current state of affairs nothing will. Our grandchildren will watch this clip in history class, to better understand the political climate during Trumpism.

Hey @grok is Abdul El-Sayed a "fake doctor" like Trump says, or does he have a real medical degree? He went to Columbia Medical School, skipped residency, and never got a license. Now he's nine days from a Senate election that could decide control of the chamber. Honest answer please. Does it matter to you??

El-Sayed: I have never been a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. I never will be a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. I'm interested in serving the United States, I'm interested in swearing an oath to the constitution that every senator has sworn an oath to.  If the question about my faith is the issue, which Mike Rogers wants it to be, I think it is sad and beneath him, and frankly beneath the President of the United States to make that an issue because under our constitution you're guaranteed the right to pray as you choose to pray

Baier: When they say they’re stopping Iran from getting a nuclear weapon do you care about that? El-Sayed: Of course I do. We had done that under Obama. If Trump had cared about stopping Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, he wouldn't have torn up the JCPOA. This is entirely about his vanity.

The fact that Trump will remove tariffs to help Republicans win elections, but he won’t remove tariffs to help Americans afford necessities, tells you exactly what his priorities are.
BREAKING: The United States is expected to remove 50% tariffs on some Canadian products in a bid to help Maine Senator Susan Collins and other Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections. Full Story: on.wsj.com/4i6fCyU

In 2020, Tommy Tuberville promised to donate “every dime” of his $174,000 Senate salary to Alabama veterans and their families. A June investigation found no evidence he followed through, a pledge now worth roughly $1 million. Tuesday night, after a reporter asked about it, Tuberville told staff to remove him. Then he called the media “socialists” and “communists.”
The MAGA senator had a reporter thrown out of a campaign dinner after being confronted with an embarrassing question. thedailybeast.com/maga-senat…

What is going on in Texas? The current Texas Agriculture Commissioner said he voted for a Democrat for the first time in his life and that Abbott “needs to go”. This is absolutely wild.

Republicans have the House. Republicans have the Senate. Republicans have the Presidency. Republicans have the Supreme Court. Your grocery costs have gone up. Your premiums have quadrupled. Your gas tanks are empty. Your safety is at risk in a war. Your wages are down. Republicans own this mess. Vote accordingly.

BREAKING: George W. Bush's brother Neil just dropped a BOMB on MAGA by proudly announcing that he voted for James Talarico in the Texas Senate race. This just gave Republicans a flashing green light to vote blue... "I have never posted a political message on Facebook not wanting to offend friends whose views may be very different than mine. I'm breaking that tradition because I voted early today, and I voted for James Talarico for the United States Senate," Bush, the child of the late President George H.W. Bush wrote on Facebook. "My vote was motivated by two things: deep concern about Ken Paxton's record and genuine admiration for the character and principles I see in James Talarico," he continued. "I have been deeply troubled by Paxton's conduct as Texas Attorney General, particularly his decision to challenge the results of the 2020 presidential election in other states in an effort to help Donald Trump remain in power. I believe that effort was an affront to our democratic institutions and the peaceful transfer of power. My concerns about his judgment and conduct are hardly mine alone. He was impeached by the Republican-controlled Texas House, although subsequently acquitted by the Texas Senate." "More broadly, I believe Donald Trump and those who have enabled him have done enormous damage to the Republican Party. I worry about a political culture in which loyalty to an individual takes precedence over loyalty to principle, and where those who hold power begin to believe they are no longer accountable." "But my vote today was about much more than opposition to Ken Paxton." "I've never met James Talarico, but I have been enormously impressed by the way he approaches complicated and controversial issues. He speaks with respect, seeks common ground, and seems genuinely interested in bringing people together rather than driving them apart. His faith appears to be a deeply rooted source of humility, compassion, and conviction rather than a political weapon." I see in him the qualities I admire most in public servants: integrity, civility, humility, and a willingness to listen to those with whom he disagrees. My impression is that he is a principled, pragmatic leader who understands that public office is a responsibility to serve, not an entitlement to power." "I have been a Republican for most of my life, and I still believe deeply in many traditional Republican principles. But character matters more than party affiliation. Our democracy depends on leaders who respect our institutions, tell the truth, accept accountability, and seek to unite rather than divide." "Today, I voted against a style of politics that I believe has damaged our country. More importantly, I voted for the kind of character and leadership I hope will help heal it," he concluded. Bravo, Mr. Bush! We commend you for speaking out boldly during these crucial midterm elections. Ken Paxton is a stone-cold crook who was impeached for bribery by his own party as state attorney general. He has zero interest in serving the people of Texas if he wins and will instead work to line his own pockets, accumulate personal power, and rubber-stamp Trump's destructive agenda. Meanwhile, James Talarico is a devout Christian who is committed to fighting for better healthcare, an end to pointless wars, livable wages, more housing construction to restore the American Dream, and banning Congressional stock trading. The Bush family still wields a great deal of influence in Texas, so this announcement is sure to cause political shockwaves. If you're a Republican who genuinely loves this country, it's time to cross the aisle and vote for James Talarico. Please ❤️ and share to thank Neil Bush!

when fighters are getting phone calls from bosses telling them, “If you keep wrestling like that, you’re going to get cut,” then you’re basically telling fighters how you want them to fight. At what point does that cross the line? Isn’t that influencing the competition? And if you want to release a fighter, fine. But don’t then publicly say he was “hard to deal with” or create some bullshit narrative about him that could damage his reputation and make other organizations think twice about signing him. Release fighters if you want. Just don’t try to damage their careers on the way out
