What’s the best article on why Dolan did this?
She apparently has totally missed the entire point of that Scalia line.
Replying to @kyledcheney
Reyes, admittedly not a golf fan, still gets in some references — along with a Scalia cite about "golf and government." ecf.dcd.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin…
She is not back at SDNY. She is getting backpay and benefits but the ruling stated explicitly that she was not seeking actual re-instatement.
Good news: Maurene Comey is back at SDNY after a judge ruled her firing unlawful
Who trusts a case if the prosecutor’s job hangs on pleasing the president? Rules keep the answer simple, & today they protected more than one person -TN

Some interesting legal questions here but unless DOJ can get an indictment soon. the whole issue is moot, as the infiormation will itself be dismissed.
The filing here relies on 18 U.S.C. § 3282 to justify the argument that an information tolls the statute of limitations. And that makes sense--the general statute specifically references informations. The only problem is Comey is charged under 18 U.S.C. § 792 and 793, for which Congress specifically extended the SoL of five years from the general statute to ten years for espionage. But they did so only mentioning indictments, not informations. Interesting statutory interpretation arguments to come.
Good to see. Lawyers are (properly) sanctioned for use of AI. Judges should be treated at least as harshly.

They need to release the entire headset communication audio and all mic’d up players from the last minute of the Commanders Giants game like we do with the cockpit voice recorder after a plane crash. We need closure

Why go for it there?
Kick the field goal, it's a three-possession game, and it's effectively over.
