So much for money out of politics.
Pretty cheesy to solicit money while posting for jobs in your Senate office
The work is just getting started.
I'm building a team in Michigan and Washington, D.C. to fight for a government that works for all of us.Â

Despite a far stronger national environment for Democrats, Independent Dan Osborn's second run for Senate did not end up different than his first.

🚨🚨BREAKING: TOM EMMER'S DEAR COLLEAGUE for his whip bid against Rep. AUGUST PFLUGER
"When I took over the NRCC in 2019, we needed to change. We needed to install a winning culture. In 2020, we were expected to lose up to 24 seats. We fought tooth and nail, and gained a historic 15 seats, nearly flipping the House in a presidential year. In 2022, we finished the job. ....
"As your Republican Whip, I will continue to be direct, honest, and transparent. We have never made false promises or tried to buy your votes. My role is to support every Member of this conference and help you succeed. Success will feel different in the minority—and often less satisfying—but will require no less support and unity in our conference."

Over the last two years, Senate Republicans have put up a strong record of accomplishment that’s created safer streets, more money in Americans’ pockets, and new opportunities for families and businesses to get ahead. After fighting Democrat obstruction at every turn, we prevented the largest tax hike in American history, secured our border in an unprecedented way, confirmed the president’s Cabinet at the fastest pace in two decades, and put strong conservative judges on benches across the country faster than we have since the Reagan administration. I’m proud of our team and everything we’ve done for the American people, and I’m looking forward to the important work we have in front of us over the next few months. As we head into 2027, Senate Republicans will not stand idly by as the far-left, socialist wing of the Democrat Party attempts to unwind everything we’ve done. Thankfully, we still have President Trump in the White House, and we’ll work with him to stop the worst impulses of Democrat extremism. We cannot let their fringe positions become the mainstream.
