Tywin had Tyrion watch what happened to Tysha, and that’s the real reason he never forgave him
Nobody in the Lannister family ever told Tyrion the truth about his first wife.
He married a girl he loved, believing she was a crofter’s daughter who cared for him.
His father and brother told him she was a whore Jaime hired to teach him a lesson.
The rest was Tywin’s design. He made Tyrion watch while a barracks of guardsmen paid a silver each to take her, then ordered Tyrion to take his turn.
That’s the scene that shaped every cruelty Tyrion committed afterward, every choice that made him distrust love.
Tywin didn’t just humiliate his son.
He built a man who couldn’t believe he was worth loving, then spent decades treating the result as proof he’d been right.

In the late 2000s, most phone makers treated the camera as a secondary feature. It was there, but it wasn’t the product.
Apple flipped that. Starting with the iPhone, the camera stopped being an add-on and became one of the main reasons people actually upgraded. Every year the pitch shifted a little further toward photo and video quality. Other companies followed, but a lot of them treated it as a spec race instead of the systems change it actually was.
The deeper shift was this: once the camera became central, the entire device had to get redesigned around it, sensor placement, software processing, storage, battery, even the way the phone felt sitting in your hand. Companies that kept treating the camera as just another component fell behind even when their megapixel count looked perfectly competitive on paper.
The pattern’s still active today. The feature that looks secondary right now can end up forcing a complete redesign of the product tomorrow. Teams that just bolt it on usually lose to the ones that rebuild around it.

BlackBerry’s physical keyboard was once its greatest advantage. Business users loved it, typing was fast, accurate, and reliable in a way early touchscreens simply weren’t.
When the iPhone arrived, BlackBerry’s leadership largely judged it through that same lens. No physical keyboard. Weak battery life by their standards. No enterprise grade security at launch. By the metrics that had made them successful, the iPhone looked flawed.
The problem was that the market had already stopped using those metrics. Consumers wanted a large touchscreen, apps, and a genuinely different kind of device. BlackBerry eventually shipped touchscreen models, but its first serious attempt, the Storm, tried to recreate the feel of physical keys on glass, and it failed.
They protected the feature that had made them dominant, and that protection became the reason they couldn’t adapt fast enough when it mattered.
The pattern repeats constantly. The thing that made a company successful becomes the thing it can’t let go of, even once the environment underneath it has completely changed.

When Michael Jackson took the stage at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards on his 44th birthday, what should have been a celebration quickly turned into one of the most talked-about media moments of his career!
After Britney Spears introduced him as her "Artist of the Millennium" and handed him an ornate statue alongside a birthday cake, Michael delivered a genuine, heartfelt acceptance speech, thanking his family, fans, and close friends. However, when MTV clarified shortly afterward that there was no official competitive "Artist of the Millennium" award, late-night hosts, comedians, and tabloid outlets immediately turned the moment into a relentless punchline.
Reports and insiders later revealed that show organizers had heavily hyped the appearance to secure his attendance for ratings, leading Michael to believe that an actual honor was being presented. While critics poked fun at the confusion, loyal Moonwalkers continue to call out the unfair media treatment, remembering the moment for what it truly was: a heartfelt gesture from a legend who loved his fans! 👑🎂✨
