The Wizards needed a spark in the second half.
Enter Anthony Davis, who scored 18 of his 34 points in a third-quarter barrage that propelled the Wizards to a 128-116 comeback win.

Plus-minus: +17 (game high)
Offensive rating: 138.6 (game high)
Defensive rating: 102.3
Net rating: 36.3 (game high)
A few takeaways:
• AD was incredible. Kept Wiz afloat in Q3
• Trae stepped up when it mattered most
• Bilal and Kyshawn were everywhere on both ends, especially in Q4
• Champagnie and Ayton flipped this game in Q4
• Wiz scored 128 while shooting 21% 3PT + no AJ — great sign

Anthony Davis said Bub Carrington asked him if he had another gear when the Wizards trailed in the third quarter.
Davis scored 18 of his 34 points in the quarter to propel the Wizards to the win.
“The team wanted me to be aggressive. I wanted to be aggressive.”
Justin Champagnie completely flipped this game.
Entered down 93-90. Exited with the Wizards ahead 107-98.
Finished a with 8 PTS and 8 REB and was a game-high +17. Baller.

Anthony Davis (34 PTS, 12 REB) was outstanding. Bilal Coulibaly and Kyshawn George starred on both ends. Justin Champagnie made his usual winning plays. And Washington earned a gritty comeback win.
The young Wizards are 1-0.

The Wizards are on a 21-5 run to open the fourth quarter. They lead 111-98. Completely flipped this game on its head with terrific defense.

He is willing the Wizards back into this one, but Milwaukee keeps answering.

Anthony Davis has looked great. As have Bub Carrington and Bilal Coulibaly. But Washington's offense has looked stagnant at times. Still plenty of time to regroup.
Awesome sequence for Bub Carrington.
Consecutive possessions where he touched the paint that resulted in him drilling a triple and assisting Ayton under the basket. Then picked up a steal and drilled a mid-range jumper off a nice dribble move.
He's got 8 PTS on 3-4 FG.
