“Don’t chase programs, chase a coach.”
Amazing words from AHL coach and hockey dad Greg Rallo. The coach is the most important person in your kid’s development journey, and if you’re looking for a place for your player, the coach’s character should be at the top of the list.

If you ever go to watch a pro or college practice - you’ll notice that so much of the work is on FUNDAMENTALS. So often we think that at that level, they do these crazy things from a development standpoint, but it’s all about doing the little things. Both from a team and individual perspective, doing fundamentals incredibly well is a huge part of the process to becoming great.
Greg Rallo is a coach in the AHL and also has kids playing - some really interesting perspective here on what he sees (and what he’s asked) about it.
Thank You Marc Boxer & Rod Braceful for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. It’s an experience I’ll never forget, and II hope it’s not the last time I get the chance to coach for our country. 🇺🇸🏒 @usahockey

I’ve played for NHL coaches Gulutzan, Horachek, Lalonde & Arniel. For 7 years in Milwaukee, I’ve watched Karl Taylor do what great coaches do: build a winning culture in MKE, cultivate relationships with honesty & develop NHL players. He’s ready & deserves a NHL opportunity
